Tish,

where is your daughter in the photo.

you have been thru this before. u need to give us newbis pointers!

Everyone remember the trivia contest tomorrow on the facebook page. The first person to guess the right answer gets a photo posted of the division of their choice!!! The time is central time there so remember the time differences.

I didn't see anything about a trivia contest?? This could be fun, what is the central time it is to be posted?

Its on the face book page  i think i posted a link on the first or second page of our forum here. if its not there let me know. The contest is  noon tuesdays central time so eastern time is 1pm .the first person to get the correct answers gets to pick a division they will track down for a photo. sometimes it takes a couple days to a week to get the photo posted. There is a forum there for our division as well    look at the navy recruit training command face book page and u will see the forums off to the left.  Good luck. the answer has to be posted in the comment section where they asked the question..

Hope someone from 03/071 wins

how is everyone doing? any letters yet?

No letters yet,. I tracked back to those who graduate 2 weeks ahead of my husband and their families didn't get letters until the 22nd of December so I am expecting by the end of the week we should be receiving our first letters =)

I looked on the Facebook page and didn't see anything about a contest but I will look again, there is a lot of new posts so it might have been pushed down.

Here is your photo fromRTC from Random Pics at Christmas. Click it and it will open to a new page...then you should be able to zoom in. Please don't identify your recruit by name.

This picture has been my cover on Facebook. I was so happy to see his face! Alive and well =)

They used to do the contests on weds but they changed it a few weeks ago to tuesdays.
Last week they asked for an email address.

Oh, Good to know =) I'll keep up, I'm new to this navy thing,. thank goodness for this forum, it has helped me alot!

If it wasn't for this forum I don't know how I would have gotten thru the last 3 weeks,

I didn't discover it for a couple of weeks,. Wish I had, but it lightened my spirits when I did come across it. To think that picture had been posted for almost a week before I even saw it! Still was quite a treat =). But alot of my questions were answered. I thought I was the only one with no phone call, no letters, comforts me to know were all in the same boat. I will keep up and let everyone know what happens on my end over the next 45 days =)

I'm new to it as well. its totally foreign to me.
