I'm going to Try, Chances are I won't know the answer, but you've been around this navy stuff for awhile =) I hope you get it!

I'm going to try. Hopefully a03/ 071 will win.
Happy anniversary to the Reynolds!!
Tish...did u get letters today?

Thank you =) WOW that Trivia game in crazy, I just threw another answer out there, I'm SO mad because I had just had that page up and accidentally ex'ed it out in the excitement. Grr! It really is a good thing though they do that, because even though we may not win, I have learned alot studying the guides (hoping to win).. Like it says not to write anything on the outside of the envelopes or put stickers on it. LOL OOPS. It says just encase it were to embarrass the SR though because everyone could read the envelope, I don't think he cares.

yes, two! I'll post info below....

Yay! Good thing we have you to give us a heads up! :)

wow, I was like the 35th person to post the trivia!!! and I thought I was super fast ha ha ha

by the way, I received two more letters today! she said they receive letters every day except saturday and sunday and that they can only send their letters on Sunday. She seemed to be quite a bit behind on my letters receiving the third one and I've sent 7.
Anyway, congrats to her!! she passed her PFA test!!! she said 1/3 of the division didnt pass though, but that means 2/3 did! I'm so proud, with her being sick I was really worried for her. & today they take the written test so good luck to all of them today!!! & they also have an inspection on how well their things are folded.

They are giving them bits and pieces on what to expect for liberty after graduation. She stays in great lakes for 3 weeks, but she is hearing she may not get to come home for the weekend. I booked our room at the Ramada for the whole weekend so either way I plan to spend as much time with her as possible.

I dont know if you saw the post regarding the question about Monday the 20th being a holiday and if the SR's will get an extra day of liberty for it, but they said most likely they will, it will depend on where they go afterwards and what their liberty allowance is.

we plan to go to Sarge's meet and greet Thursday, it sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you all get your letters too!!!!

Also, unofficially of course, a little birdie told me to stay by the phone Thursday :-)

Tish, thanks so much for sharing all the information from your daughter, the letters from my son are wonderful, but they don't seem to have the detail 'I' want! (maybe it's a girl thing!)

youre welcome! I think it might be a girl thing for most, I have a son in too and he never gave me as much info either lol.

Tish, based on your daughters letter do you know what week-day they are on?

I went back and looked, on Thurs Jan 5th she said she believed it was 1-5 and that the next day would be 2-1. It is complicated, and if I am correct, I think you count 5 days per "week number" including saturday but skipping Sunday. I did the math on that theory and ended up with week 8-1 being Monday Feb 13th and 8-5 being PIR day. I really don't know though, just guessing. Also, I discovered this link from the main page of this site....it's awesome! and I wish my daughter would have known about it before she went to boot! oh well, it's at least handy for us to keep track of what they are up to daily. :-) it may not be exact but Im sure its close enough. http://www.navydep.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433

I hope your bird is correct. I warned my sons girlfriend just in case!! So we should be getting letters tomorrow. Yeah!
