For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hi everyone, 20 more days, Wheeehooooo! I am so excited I cannot stand it...
It is very exciting!!! I'm hoping that we get some calls today - it would be nice to hear my husbands voice! :)

Got a CALL - YEAH!!!! - all is going well - passed Hell Week - all downhill from here :) So nice to hear his voice - he sounded Happy and healthy. Monday they are on week 5 day 3 for those of you who are counting. Hope you all get your calls as well. 20 days to go!

Still waiting for a call from our son. I know he is fine, he writes weekly, we just want to hear his voice. 19 days to go! My daughter and I are making our gold scarves. We will have extra material, so we will bring extra scarves with us to the graduation in case someone wants one. I looked at pictures of yesterdays graduation and was crying! I will be a mess on Feb 3!
I'll be a mess too. lol
I wish I were crafty enough to my scarves, and i think that's really great of you all to bring extras for those who may not have one. :)

I have a pick of the gold scarf with the Navy Blue Anchor that several of you have ordered. someone ask me to post the pic but I can't remember who it was lol. I hope you like them, Sorry for the shadows, I took the pick out on my deck. This colors turned out very nice, and I have already started working on the orders and putting them in the mail :-)
