Son left 12/5/11. Just received the form letter. He's Ship 12 Div 058. PIR 2/3/12. Got a very short note saying the Petty Officers were killing them. That was alarming, but then at the end, his usual sarcasm of "I'm alive so stop freaking out." That made me feel much better. Anyone else??????

Bless your heart on the moving! Good luck with that and take it slow.
If anyone from Div 058 & 057 are having trouble finding green scarves....check the St. Patricks day stuff that's in the stores. I saw a green boa that would do in a pinch.
Anybody receive mail today from Div.058? No letters today from my girl :( JcPenny also has great "Sales" and a variety of green scarves for ST.Patricks day.
Just wanted to share my good news, I received 4 letter from my husband yesterday and he told me he was chosen as honor graduate for the 058 division! I'm so proud of him :) made me cry when reading his letters. I miss that man. Just wanted to share the good news with everyone!
I'm happy for y'all awesome news.
Nice I hope so we really miss talking to our SRs. I got a letter Thursday & so did my husband. She asked me to send her two main things her CHI & contacts. She's no longer AROC. She's now a RMAA she's still a leader. She's a little disappointed she really wanted to lead her DIV,but said she kept messing up the counts while singing the cadence. Overall she's very excited and happy they are half way done. I was hoping we got a call this weekend, maybe next week?
On facebook you search for U. S. Navy Recruit Training Command. Every Tuesday at noon central time there is a trivia contest and if you win, you get a picture of your division. The more people we have trying, the better. All the answers come from bootcamp.navy.mil. It's best to have both tabs open and look over the site first so you're familiar with it. People are FAST, so it's hard. I try every week, but so far, no luck. Also on the left side of the FB page, click on forum and you'll see a discussion for Ship 12 Div 058. But the contest is on their main wall.
I've been trying Lani and will try again Tuesday. It would be so great to see 12/058 win! Got my green scarf today ... can't wait. Praying for another phone call this week too :) Congrats KayOh!
