Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Because I am not a scarf person I am borrowing one to wear.  I don't even have a big coat. Still working on that one.

God Evening everyone.  Has anyone heard from their SR and what jobs they were assigned?  Our son's letter written onthe third of Jan. and we got today said he was getting his assignment the next day and a whole week has passed.  Just wondering. 

Hi all, For those of you who don't know and are on Facebook, we have a private Facebook page just for families of Div 059. Would love to have you join us there as most of us don't check this very often? The name is 07/059 navy family. Nikki531 my son is also a Corpsman! Yay!
Glad to see you all got the purple scarf message. I think I read a question about them being neck scarves, and yes they are. The men are even wearing purple shirts. :)

Thanks to our very own crissyroo our SR's will have a pictured posted on U.S. Navy Recruit Training Commands Facebook page tomorrow afternoon. Well the picture will be taken tomorrow, I don't know how long it takes to post it. She won their weekly trivia contest! Way to go crissyroo! Can't wait to see our guys!
