My son, Steffan, is on the USS MISSOURI out of Groton, CT.  First deployment.  He is the youngest sailor on the boat and loves alll of it!!

Hey Candy..our son Jarrett is also aboard the USS Nevada..Gold Crew.  in Bangor - radioman... hope he runs into Chet..we are in TN and he got to come home for Thanksgiving but we sure missed him at Christmas this year.  Safety and blessings to all our sailors!

Hi,

My son Andre is also on the Nevada Gold out of Bangor WA. He is a Missile Tech. He should know ur son Jarrett. He has been there since December 2010.

Is your son still on the USS Nevada Gold?

Candy -

My son is on the Nevada Blue Crew, he will be going out later this year for his first patrol; he also is a Fire Control Tech.

I visited my son and wife in the Bremerton/Seattle area early in January.  It is a beautiful area, hope to go back in warmer weather.

Candy -

My son, Sean, is on the Nevada "Blue Crew."  He is also a new Fire Control Tech.  He and his wife moved to Bremerton last fall from Groton.   I live in Michigan and visited him in January for his birthday.  It is a little nerve wracking thinking about everything, but I have great faith in Sean and the Navy, and am very proud of his choice.

My son is on the Nevada Blue Team.  I visited Bremerton, WA in January, it is very lovely area.
My sailor is on the Nevada Blue Crew also, his first patrol.  I am so nervous for him, but I know he will do well.....
I'm sorry I missed all your replies!  I didn't realize how long it has been since I've been on this site!  Our sons probably know each other by now. They're both on the Nevada, Blue Crew, and both are FT's.  We're from Florida.  Chet was visiting his brother in Alaska (Air Force) when he was recruited into the Navy, and he's been adapting to the cold weather ever since!  From Alaska, to Connecticut, to Washington. I'm hoping to visit him in Washington this summer!  It's been too long!

I am glad to meet you Candy, I am sure our sailors will get to know eachother. I think my son is the blue crew...but I hear that they all get to know eachother.

 Regards for a wonderful Easter!!

My son, Josh, is in "Nuke" school at Charleston,S.C. He will study for a little over a year and half. I am also from Alabama and a big Tide fan. Roll Tide Roll

My son will be part of the crew after A school on May 3rd. He is also a Machinist Mate
