Received my form letter yesterday (Dec. 17).  He says everything is going well and he already see the changes in himself.  So proud but sure do miss him!

Anyone else?

yep, i got a letter saying the same thing about wearing purple. only 18 days!!! so excited!

I am glad the color thing is getting around :) Got a few questions about it so posted in the scarf forum since it had been hiding a few pages back.. that way people that are new can find it a little easier.

So, my husband received the letter to him/the whole division of 062. He read it and said it was awesome and that he was going to read it to all of 062 at taps that night. That is pretty cool! :)

ALSO, to the mom I had tell your SR that my husband is their sexy mail man! All your son will call my husband now is "sexy mail man" It is hilarious. <3

That is funny. I think it is great that they are all becoming freinds.

January 30th is my birthday. I got a letter today from my son. He had almost all the Recruits in the Division sign it and put where they are from. It was awsome!

Happy Birthday Julie. That was very thoughtful of him. What a great idea! I would love to get one of those for my Birthday. Mine is Feb 06 :)

That is really sweet of him!! I bet that was a nice surprise! Eee..

My son says they are doing battlestations early nest week!!!! and he is very excited about it. I can't believe they are almost sailors!!! Can't wait to graduations. I am watching the count down. Are you all going to Sarges meet and greet..

i got a letter this past Sunday saying Battlestations is next Tuesday..that would mean this coming Tuesday. Is this correct..anyone else??

My son's letter said 11 days from day 4-5. From my calculation, that would make day 6-4 which is Tuesday (1/31) the day of their BS21. :)

My son's letter said Tuesday. We are so close, I am getting really excited to see him.

I finally received my call from my SR. He said that he was always on lookout duty when the division was making the calls. He said that they had battlestations already and that the division did so well that they are basically waiting for the rest of the divisions to catch up. He is very excited that PIR is so close, but wishes it was this week. I can't wait to finally see him. Is anyone else's SR going to Charleston for A school?
