My son is. I got his form letter 2 days before xmas. He wrote a note on the back of the form letter. The facebook page posted a photo of this division on xmas day!! It was such a relief to see my Son looking healthy & strong.

My nephew is in this Div.  His form letter came yesterday (12/27) with a short note that sounded upbeat.  And, yes, it was good to see a picture of him.

isn't the picture the xmas gift we could have ever gotten? :)

I uploaded the photo on here so u can see it. Search facebook for U. S. Navy recruit training command. They give tons of updates and answer tons of questions. Just read thru all the hundreds of posts. There are also forums there on the left side of the screen click on forums...I started one for our ship/division. There are only a couple other people I've found with the same division.

Thank you for getting back to me. it's been so hard waiting for information that every nugget is worth gold to me.

Hi, my daughter is ship 03 div 071 also, I will check out your facebook forum, no letter yet from her other than the 5 minute note sent with her box, I was so excited to find this site and be able to connect with other moms going thru this too!

I'm in California, I found out yesterday that my neighbors have had mail stolen from their mail boxes in the last month. so I think it might have happened to me also. My fax is very temperamental, so I don't all ways get me faxes. Is there any way you can scan it and email it to me? my email is gordonx4@hotmail.com

Hi there!  What part of California are you from?  I am here too!  Antelope Valley.  I am flying up to see my son, and then he is going to Florida.  BTW - my name is Jil.  I never got a form letter either.  Did you finally get one?  Can you email it to me if you have?  my email is jily39@aol.com.  I would really appreciate it!
