got to see pictures of our division of RTC page, and saw my son! Made my cry with joy! Can't wait to see him.

Check it out for you all's SR's!

Where is the link?

Lesa- It is on Facebook at the US Navy Recruit Command Page.
You will see it under photos

I saw my boy too!!!!

Me too!

Annie, when I saw my son's picture, I was excited, then cried, then looked around to make no one had seen me.  These emotions are crazy!   lol   If only to receive a phone call.... but we have 11 more days! That's it!

Hi All,

I just got a letter from my boy.  He said it has been an emotional week.  He said they do know about the SR that died during his final test a little while back.  He said they all have to get haircuts for the graduation (took place yesterday).  They are all excited for their own graduation and seem to be doing well.  They had the gas chamber and fire fighting last week and he said he thinks they get a phone call this week.  Yes, I will be stalking my cell tomorrow since my phone has not rang today  :)

I got a letter as well yesterday...he said they literally gave him 8 letters at once..they haven't been giving them there mail and he can't catch up to everyone..He said they are doing good and they are doing good on their inspections and he told me about the recruit that died, so they all knew it happened but not details about it..he said our division could be a hall of fame division because they are doing so well on their inspections.. "BRAVO ZULU". He wants me to send his contacts ASAP..He didn't mention anything about gas chamber, or fire..so I am glad from another post they did that, he only talked about the guns. If they don't qualify on something can they still qualify before PIR? He was hoping he could. He is anxious as well as others to be done and move on. They want to start their adventure!  It was good at least to hear from him, and see him at the PIR 1/20..Thank you!

can't wait less than 2 weeks to go

Good morning all.  Got a letter from my recruit.  Although I feel like he is doing well and enjoys boot camp, he still seems rather upset with (his words) "the high school drama" from the younger recruits.  I adopted a pound dog this week and haven't had time to write him --- I feel really bad about that, but will get a letter out soon.  I received my ribbons for our division and I think they will stand out nicely at graduation.  I am so looking forward to meeting all of you at the Meet-N-Greet at the Sundance Saloon that Thursday night.  Everyone - stay safe, stay warm, and keep encouraging our recruits to work as a team.

Lynn

Just FYI ladies, RTC is having issues with the website.  They said it will be fixed and gate pass will be available for download tomorrow 1/24.

Here is the direct link to PIR 01/20 FB photos...so you can look for your Recruits!
