Anyone with SR in this division?

Chizzledee-I just know that your SR's call will come at the best, and most opportune time for the both of you (that's my prayer.)

My SR was able to call my daughter-in-law today. Seems that the division was recognized for having the best environment (I think environment. Anyway, they had the best something.) So, he got to call (very short, but call nonetheless.) They must be pulling together, now. Yea!!!!  Keep the prayers going. The division is hanging in there together.

Ahhh, God is Great! What wonderful news for our SRs! What strong men they have become! This is a wonderful way to begin the day. Thank you for sharing :>)

I'm sorry...I had to remove the Battlestations info and repost for you...did not want to lose your post by deleting completely. We are not allowed to post BS21 dates on here. If you woulod send the info to diannep in a private message that would be great! She compiles the BS21 dates and then sends it out privately to the whole group. Thank you!

Hello all,

Just sharing that I got a letter from my S.R. today. The letter sounded much better as far as tone. He starting to sound a lot happier but, he says that the work is tought and that he's pushing through. He says that his letters and a lot of the other letters that the S.R.'s get are their motivation. They love getting letters. He didn't mention how the team was working out but he did mention that the S.R's are only on week 4 day 2. He said that they didn't count the holiday's as weeks. He drew out a whole calander for me so I can know what week and what day hes on, and what days they have off. He says tthat they workout everyday though and the phyiscal training is painful. but after that he said its making him stronger physically and mentally and that made me happy. =] I thought that would be some good information that the mom's should know. ...and he labeled Feb 17th as graduation! with a star above it. He said after battle stations they just do basic training until their graduation. On Jan 19th he wrote that the next day he has to wake up at 4am to do another 2 inspections tests and assessment to see if they got stronger for their push ups, sit ups, and jogging. He said there's 4 weeks left but technically 3 because they do a final one week before. He also told me to stay near my phone because in 2 weeks he may get another phone call but they have to earn it as always.

I hope I helped with some info! Febuaray 17th is getting closer and closer. <3

Hello all,

I have a quick question. My SR's birthday is coming up very soon. I would like to send him some scratch off tickets because he loves them. Do you think they are allowed that? I don't want scratch off's to be on the wall of shame. Lol

Thank you! :)

Chizzledee-I have been sooooo conservative regarding what I send for fear that it would rub an RDC the wrong way! I  try to err on the side of conservatism for now just to be on the safe side. But maybe you should check with one of the ladies that are not newbies like us! Maybe FTLW might have better insight for you. It is a great idea though!

Got a letter today!! Funny, the letter is shorter and I am happier! He said less but it really is more positive and I guess its what I am not reading between the lines that says a whole lot! He definitely sounds more confident and into the daily regiment without the high stress level. Whew! Progress!

I have been asking questions about any tests or awards but no answers! Any of you ladies know how the group is doing and if they have gotten any flags? All I hear about is count down to Battlestations and getting to see us all. 3 weeks from tomorrow!!!!! WOW! We are almost there :)

Chizzledee-I am with Celeste. I would err on the side of caution, but what a great idea. You might want to make and send your SR a coupon for the scratchers redeemable in the future. Perhaps that will give him an idea of what you wish you could send, and something in which to look forward. Happy Birthday to your SR.

I have not received any information regarding flags or awards either.

Okay girls --- two more graduations to go and then it is our turn ~~~ can you believe we are down to 20 days?!?!?

Thank you ladies for all your help. I read another discussion and they said that they might get in trouble for the scratch off but i send him a very romantic card instead. Thank you and i will send my SR all the birthday wishes.

20 days already!! I cant wait =]... did anyone start purchasing their plane tickets?

Yep! purchased my tickets a few weeks ago! and booked hotel on Jan. 15th!   :-) wanted to make sure we got a room where we wanted to stay!

Same here, we already have our tickets, hotel and car. There are 5 of us coming out!! No one wanted to miss the opportunity to just see him, even if it is for just a few hours! Don't know if my aunt will be able to go to the graduation. We are trying to see if we can get another ticket. Keeping our fingers crossed. I am so excited that we are really down to a reasonable count down!!! Are any of you planning to go to Sarge's Meet and Greet?

I will purchase our tickets on Tuesday (had to wait for a payday, smile). Made the reservations at a hotel back in December, however. Lodging was my main concern .I plan on attending Sarge's Meet and Greet...need to talk to my daughter-in-law about it.

I wrote my SR teasing him about frigid cold and shoveling snow. I think he will be having A school in Pensacola, Florida. We are originally from south Florida. However, we moved to southern CA when my SR was four. So, he was raised in CA. Whenever we would go back home to visit relatives, he would always complain about the humidity and heat. He even attended college in Hawaii (another warm place). I told him that I bet he will not complain about the weather in FL anymore...well, not for a while anyway...getting use to the cold was no fun.

Does anyone know if they go to A school as a division, or do they go to different places?
