Any one with loved ones in this division yet? My daughter left Dec 12th. I haven't received a letter yet from her, but I was able to get the Information from the recruiter.

my husband prints out our W2 from the myPay website and we do not receive one in the mail. You can set it up either way, and I'm sure they encourage the electronic way.
I was disappointed not to get a call too. It's all up to their RDC's and they have to schedule the calls in advance too, so you're probably right about the "Im a Sailor" calls being priority.
Three weeks!!! I like to look at it as two more graduations then ours!!!!! :-)
I am disappointed no call yesterday either. Oh well I know they are getting really busy now. Hopefully we'll get a call next week.
GOOD MORNING NAVY MOMs>>>
We didnt get any letters this week..I did write to her and sent her more stamps..Hope to hear from her soon..Cant wait for our PIR 2-17...These grad photos always makes me cry and my SR isnt in them..
Those scarves are so neat..GOOD JOB~~ I am making ribbons for my family..
Thankyou for the neat ideas..It so sad not to hear anything..I am so anxious..
Thankyou Mrsreynolds. Your right we have 3 more graduations then it our turn...
All of you have a great day~~ HOOYAH>>>
I love you scarf. how did you get the letters and how wide are you making them?
Thought for sure I'd get thursdays letter from my daughter today :-( so now I sit and wait for Monday or Tuesday! ugggh.
I did get a letter today from the SR we all wrote to. Bless her heart, it was very short because she said she didnt have much time, but it was very sweet. She said "...you really lifted my spirits. I thought I was alone, but I guess we never really are in this world, thanks for reminding me..." She also said she cant wait to write more. I just want to hug her and adopt her! :-) Now the mail has been, I'm heading out to find some more cards to send. I think I'll send her a "form letter" to fill out since all the kids say they had a good time filling them out. Has anyone already sent one to her?
Well, I think this week has been a tough one for all of us. Hopefully next week will be better, now we're all crafting our scarves and ribbons and planning what we're going wear and all that exciting stuff! Have a great weekend everyone!
HELLO MY NAVY FAMILY>>
Just got a short letter from Kara today..She stated that it was very hard Monday..this week was going to be hard..They had to pass yesterday (FRIDAY) was TEST 2..Does anyone know what she is talking about..
We are sending her out more paper and stamps for Monday mail. I know it getting close but at least she can have these for her school. I am so glad we were all able to write to the Sr letters..I am going to write her another one tonight and get that in the mail as well > I sent her stamps too so she can write letters out..
Hope everyone gets to hear from their Sr this week..HOOYAH>>Cant wait to see everyone scarves and ribbons..
Hi, yes, test 2 is the 50 question multiple choice test that goes along with the PFA test. During the course of bootcamp, they take those two tests three times. They must pass it by the last time to graduate a Sailor, but dont worry, the RDC's want everyone to pass these so that is why they do all the PT and studying. After the final tests if they dont pass they have the change to take it over every other day until graduation to try and pass.
Hope this helps :-)
I thought of you yesterday, I know you really want to wear a dress. Well, we are having a really mild winter this year so far, so maybe you will get lucky and we'll have a day in the 40's for PIR. I would pack your dress, and another warmer outfit and just see what happens.
I remember going to meet my husbands ship after a 6 month cruise, all the wives wore their sexy dresses for their man and it didnt matter what the temp was! lol you have so much adrenaline from excitement we didnt notice the cold at all.
I read that you can take a stadium seat for the bleachers because they are metal, so maybe you could take a blanket. that way you can keep your legs warm with it until you get into the hall, then keep your bum warm with it once your seated. :-)
oh, and heck yea, a shopping trip is definitely in order!!! have fun!
I ordered that dress (which I love) But it is way too lightweight, it will be PERFECT for those hot days down in Texas when I get there =) So I'm window shopping online, I'm sure I can find something that is cute without compromising on warmth and comfort. I am going to be so confused when we get down there, hopefully they explain everything to us. After graduation do we go back to the hotel and wait for an hour or so when they are released and then go to the front gate to pick them up? I don't know, good thing I wont be the one driving lol! Were in the TEENS now people! See you all super soon =)
