Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Son left 12/5/11.  Just received the form letter.  He's Ship 12 Div 058. PIR 2/3/12.  Got a very short note saying the Petty Officers were killing them.  That was alarming, but then at the end, his usual sarcasm of "I'm alive so stop freaking out."  That made me feel much better.  Anyone else??????

  its not that they gave me info ,i have found out alot of info on the schooling an aircrewman does from reading posts here.what is your son training for?

Congrats to our new sailors!  I just got the "I'm a Sailor" call.   Now onto PIR!

yay!!!!

woohoo!!!!! I got my phone call today .my son nickname" Lucky" said they graduated last night ,they did battle station drills .he sounded way more positive .  I am sooooo happy for him !!! but they have not had sleep since 3:30 am this morning .he has not had any sleep and has a 2 hour watch ! we are so proud !

I got my call last night from my daughter Breanna, thanks everyone for all the support for Lee and I.   HOOYAH we have SAILORS!!!!!  We are so proud of  our sailors especially since we were the last it seems to be called last night @ 7:33.  Congratulations to everyone in our Div. and our Brother Div.

FedEx came today I posted photos in my photos ,I have a photo of div.058!

Oh cool! Jake said he mailed his photos to the house also but I haven't received them yet. Where did you post it? FB?

I thought we picked them up there.  I guess I need to be checking the mail too.
