This will be a great place to share the news for our SRs in Division 86. As we get letters or phone calls you can share the news with other moms/wives/gfs. Be careful what you post though....we don't want to cause any extra issues for our SRs...I am sure they will be causing enough on their own as they figure things out.

MY niece is assigned to division 086. My Son is a Sailor (Sonar Tech) and is stationed in Guam. Now this is a 2nd go round through boot-camp.
tnpromised, this is also my second time through boot camp. My older son was in GL almost exactly 2 years ago. It is not any easier the second time, but at least we know what to expect!
yea...letters arrived yesterday. We received 3 letters today. Sounds like things are going fairly well. Food is good. They are hoping to make phone calls home soon. Anyone else get letters??
Yes, a 4 page one. Written over a few days. My daughter received a letter at college too. Sounds tough but great attitude.
Happy day.
Okay, ladies, there are more moms, wife's in this division. Let get this group together....
this has been a very quiet group! I thought we might get phone calls this weekend...I some divisions made calls on Friday. Oh well, we did get letters
We got a phone call tonight!!! My recruit sounds great! Very upbeat! He did say the Div needs to be working together better but things are going well. He has passed his swim test and first written test. Today is day 2-5.
Hello Everyone, My son is on ship 09 division 086, This is my first time on the navy for moms site and I am just learning how to use it. I am going crazy not hearing from him. I have only received his box and the form letter with no personal message. Do any of you have any information on how they are doing? I am having that sick motherly feeling today that something is wrong and that is why I have not heard anything.
Our son was able to call last night. He said things are going well. Today was day 3-1 for training. If you look through this site you will see a listing of what training goes on during various weeks. Most moms will tell you that no news is usually a good thing. If something is wrong the recruits call home. The recruits generally only have time to write on Sundays so if he has written you should receive a letter around mid-week. Hopefully you will get something this week.
Yea, so happy you got the call. Mail today... I hope..
