Hi Sherry, no, both my son and now my daughter Sarah are serving active duty.

My husband is a retired Navy Chief since 2004, but once a Navy Wife, always a Navy Wife!

Sarah wants her dad to come to PIR in his uniform. I'm hoping he still fits in it!!! lol we'll see.

AWW>>Soon we will have two in the service as well..My son is 16 in Rotc and right now Master Sargeant..I am so proud of him..He wants Air Force..I laugh since my husband nor I grew up in the military family but our kids are going that route..

Congrats for your husband..That is awesome..Hope he can fit in his uniform..

WAIT>>your daughter is Sarah..My daughter talks about a girl she is friends with named Sarah..

Has to be your daughter..Where is your son stationed at? Kara goes to MO for 3 months for her school.

Kara is probably talking about my Sarah, I think she said there is one other Sarah from div 072.

My son was in ROTC also when we were stationed in Naples Italy, he loved it. He is now stationed in Sicily Italy because he "wanted to go back as an Adult" He is an AD (Aviation Machinist Mate) and works on the Navy EA-6 Prowlers.

Sarah wanted to be in ROTC but the schools here don't have it, sad, where we live it's all about promoting College.

I will wear my ribbon Thursday as well so hopefully we can all find each other. See ya soon!

I do not know what a RCPO is but I do know the face book page. Christmas day they posted a photo of our division. It kind of calmed and grounded me seeing he looked healthy!! The face book page is U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command. They r the best. With out this site & the face book page I would of been climbing the walls. Everyone has a ton of information.
RCPO is recruit chief petty officer. He was chosen to be over that division. so if your sailor says they hate their chief petty officer...that would be my son...lol. thank you for the fb page info.
