My son is in this division. Is there anyone else who is? Let's share information when we receive letters or any other type of news. Would love to hear that they are doing great! Thanks, Stephanie

This is my daughters division as well, making it an integrated one.
When did your daughter arrive in GL? My son has been there since 1-25-12. Just wondering when they actually started boot camp since he will be there for over 9 wekks. Have you heard from her? We haven't received any letters yet. Only the box and form letter.
She arrived on the 25th as well. I haven't hear from mine either, but that's to be expected.
My son is in this division also. I actually got a call from him yesterday because he needed more information for security clearance. He tells me that his "8 weeks" actually started yesterday and he didn't understand why he was sent there on the 26th of January. He told me that people were still coming in up to the day before yesterday. I kind of think that it was a good thing for him to get there a little early because at least now he already knows what is going on. The ones that just got there have no idea what to expect.
That's great information!! I can't wait to receive the letters either. Hopefully by Wednesday of next week. Thank you abtcross!
My son called me for the same reason. Is he going into Intelligence Specialist?
This made me laugh CaptainFatso!! I could only imagine you daughter's face when you said you were going to mail her a musical card!! I am sure afterwards it brought a smile to her face. Glad you were able to speak to her. Have a great weekend!
I have been sending "Cards of Encouragement" for the last week and a half. . .EVERYDAY! They aren't musical, but am I in TROUBLE from the whole division? :(
You're not in trouble.. but the recruits were in for a whole heap of trouble the moment the RDC said "Get Off the Bus!". :)
If it wasn't a musical card, it would be a fuzz ball of lint that is only visible under a microscope.
My daughter-in-law is in 12/098! We have received one letter so far and expecting one tomorrow.
She is doing fine but said it was the biggest task she had ever untaken! She has a 5 yr.old and
a 7 yr.old and husband at home. She is a wonderful person as well as a good daughter-in-law.
Looking forward to seeing her soon.
Hi Stephanie! My son is also 12/098. He left on 1/24/12. We received the box and the form letter and anxiously await something......, anything :) Will be happy to share any news about the group, although my son has never been very "communicative" Big Smile!!! Debby
