Hi proudmama, it looks like we are going to be in a big graduating group on the 30th! Looking forward to that special day and meeting all you wonderful moms!

Hello everyone I'm am new to Navy for Moms my SR is Holderman ship 12 Div 100 I am so glad I found this forum after the one was discontinued on FB RTC.

Hi Shauna, My son is pon Ship 12 Div: 100.  its so nice to meet you! My son arrived at bc on 1/30 and I have received the box anf form letter now.  I am anxiously awaiting a letter from him now.  I hope he has recieved our letters.  Do you have a son or daughter?  My son's name is Joe, we are from Maine.  I look forward to getting to know yuu and everyone here! Go 12/100!!!!!!

Cathie

Hi Cathie, I have a son who arrived at bc on 1/31. We received his box last Saturday and the form letter yesterday. He wrote one sentence on the back that was so comforting. He said, "hey mom I love you guys"! We are from NC! Glad to meet you and know that my son is alive, lol!

Hi Shauna, That is awesome!  My sons note said Love you talk to you soon see you in March.  Not much but to me it sounds confident if I were to read into it. lol. We'll take anything right? he actuallu spelled my name wrong on the list of people attending graduation but spelled it right on the envelope.  Too cute probably in a rush.  Where is your son going after graduation?

Hi Shauna, Our son is going to Pensacola for ABF fuel, Master at arms was one of his top 3 but he would have had to wait until August to leave and he was so ready.  He is glad that he will be able to see the world on the air craft carrier.  I hope he likes it! I have booked our room at the marriot Courtyard.  It looks nice and it is very close to Serge's meet and greet and only 3 miles from the base from what I read.  It has an indoor pool for my 11 year old daughter.  Its probably a good idea to book something right away, you can always change all the way up until the day before. Hope this helps!

Shauna..I made a mistake when I said here that I booked at the Marriott Courtyard.  I even called them to check on graduation deals and they said I was calling the wrong hotel but they were showing my reservation at the Springhill Suites by Marriott. I had gotten so confused with all the research.  Its not easy trying to book something in such a short period of time and in such a hurry. oh the pressure!! I cant wait to hear from my son, still no letter or phone call. :(

I am at the point that it doesn't matter where we stay just as long as I get to see, touch and hear my baby! lol I'm sure you feel the same way.  Keep your chin up that letter should be coming any day now.

Hi! My son will be at the same school in Texas! Where are you from?  I am from North Dakota. We will have to chat! I have not rec'd a letter other than the PIR info one. Waiting....! Cindy.

Hi Cathie! I finally found someone on ship 12, div 100!!!! My son left on 2/1. We are from North Dakota. I have not heard from him other than getting the info letter on PIR. How about you? I am having a sad day. Most days are good, but today I miss him terribly. Cindy.

Hi Cindy, I finally did receive a letter yesterday.  He sounded very positive and said he has made some friends.  He will be going to Florida for his A school.  It looks like your son will be going to Texas? We are from Maine. My son wrote his letter on Sunday and the following day they were going on the high dive. He seemed to be looking forward to that.  He did not indicate when they would be allowed to call but he was hoping soon. I believe he was writing right before going to bed as he said it was almost 10pm and he had just finished ironing and shining his boots.:)   I thought I would share so you can have some idea of what your son is doing.  That is about all he said about his schedule.  I have asked him to let me know which week and day he is in but he did not say.  Hopefully in his next letter.

If any other mom out there knows which week and day they are in, please let us know so we can follow their schedule.  Thanks!  I hope everyone receives a letter soon if they haven't already.  It truly lifted my spirits as it will yours.  Hang in there!

hi there! My boyfriend is Ship 12 division 100!!!! I get 3 letters a week and he said that this week they would be doing the gas chamber and that a couple days ago they did their pictures/ID.  He sounds better this week, I guess there was some rough stuff that happened a week or so ago, but it's going well now :) Can't wait until he graduates and I cna talk to him at A school.
