hahaha...!! Well, there is still mail coming today. Will keep my fingers & toes crossed.

Cuz if no mail, I would not want to be him when you see him next!!

I hope you get your letter today!
jormad - Too funny...When I had not received anything from my son bit finally got a call...I begged him for ANYTHING...even a piece of TP with an "X" on it! I just wanted something from him from BC!

We got a letter today from our SR.  So glad to hear from him.  He seems to be doing really good so we are very relieved.  Hope everyone else receives a letter very soon!

So glad you rec'd letter. I just hope jormad gets one too before she catches pneumonia!!

hey all my husband on ship 11 div 102 and today I received the first set of letters....it was so great hearing from him...just thought I would let you know that they are sending out letters now if you are like me and stalking the mail person :)

He didn't say much about the division as a whole but he seemed to be doing well.  Said the food was good.  Said he wrote it after day 5 so must take a while to mail them out or they just released them.

I received three letters but its from my husband not my child so I guess its a little different the dates on the letters were Feb 3 Feb 8 and Feb 13 so it took about 5 days to get it...the only thing he said about the division was that they wake up at 0600 and don't go to bed until 2200 and they have two hour watches at night
I'm so sorry to hear it Jormad....hopefully they get to call tomorrow and you get a phone call :(

Well, so sorry to hear this. The kids will never realize how we, as mothers are feeling or dealing with this. At least til they get kids of their own. But, Im sure he is fine. Maybe his letter got sent late, or he figured he would wait til he could talk to you.,Never know what goes thru boys heads??? I have 3. So, keep praying, and know that you will hear from him soon.

When my husband was in, He said they don't have a choice weather to write or not. they are told you will keep in contact with your family. Just what he told me. so some of you were saying your sons said they would not write. They just might not have a choice.

Hi! My daugher is also on Ship 11, Div. 102.  I got letters this past Thursday.  I was so excited to hear from her.  She sounded great in the first letter but the second and third was very emotional.  All the yelling and stuff is really getting her down.  I cried for hours.  It is so hard not being able to talk to her and encourage her immediately.  That's the hardest part, knowing she's hurting and not being able to make it better.  I just hope that it's gotten earsier for her since the early days.  She did say she loves the other girls so maybe she knows your daughter.
