Anyone else have loved ones in this division? I could use some help understand what this division is about, the note on the back of the form said he is in the drill division. I know that means he preforms at his PIR and two before his, but I'm curious about what that means as far as his time in RTC and after.

I had wondered about the same thing, but from what I've been told it will not change their job after RTC.
Has anyone gotten a regular letter yet?
Hi Kelly, No letter yet. Hopefully within the week we should start getting something.
: (
My son is also in this Div. We haven't received a 'real' letter yet. Anyone received their first phone call yet?
Not since the day he got there( 1st Feb.) it was a few seconds and that was it.
We received that phone call as well. Biting at the bit for the next call that more than 12 seconds long. They told us, 'No news is good news.'
They should get a phone call around four weeks, and another after they finish battlestations :)
I haven't gotten letter or phone call either. Does anyone know if they have a way of getting paper to write on and envelopes? I gave him a few stamps when he left. I saw where some moms send them envelopes. I am really looking forward to that letter or even better a call.
Did anyone here get a call today? My ex-husband just called me and said he got 2 missed calls from Chicago an hour apart. I asked him if it was an 847 area code and said "I don't know", WTF??? Now I don't know if he's messing with me or not, but now he's got me worried that if it wasn't my son, could it have been from RTC about my son? I haven't received any calls. I checked his AT&T calling card and the balance is still at 500 minutes, which is what I purchased for him. Now he's turned me into an emotional wreck for the day :(
No calls for me. Still no letter yet. Anyone get any letters?
