Dear FTLW & all5roc:ship 11/102,

THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH!!! You have made my day & week : )  Thank you so much for your alert & help in seeing this great picture!   I love it.  There's my son, 4th from the right, seated in front, on the floor, with his big beautiful smile!  Oh thank God.  He looks happy & healthy.  I cannot stop smiling.  No letter, no call, but a great photo.  What a gift, I'll take it!   You have also made his girlfriend's day & his Dad's day too!

May God bless & protect the 11/106 and all the other fine young men & women, all ships & divisions, working hard @ RTC right now.  May His shield protect all those in active service, bringing them home safely. And, may He bless & comfort all the loved ones at waiting home.

Oh, and I'm so sorry, JackieD/ship 2/920!

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto!

Thank you soooooo much <3

The picture is awesome and my sailor recruit is smiling too What a gift is right!!!  I was screaming with joy!!!  Don't know if anyone has already mentioned this but St Andrew is the Patron Saint for the Navy.  May God Bless our Navy Sailors Recruits and St. Andrew Protect them.

WOW!!!! Overwhelmed with feeling of JOY and Pride, Thank you FTLW for sharing this with us!!

thank you for the picture! it's nice to be able to see our sailor!

Got our first letter.  He sounds so happy.  I am so proud of him.  Cant wait to see him on March 30th!!  Says he is passing his tests and folding clothes and making the bed over and over again. ( I know from reading here that HELL week is coming soon so I will keep praying for him)  After reading that letter I can now breathe...Thank you God!!

When is HELL week? I thought that was BattleStations?

Danny called us last night...of course I left the phone in the car by accident and went to shoprite...so when I came out I had lots of missed calls, but, he called again...he sounds great..he also called Dad and his brother Eugene..He sounds so happy...he said it is easier than he thought it was going to be...he said that he made new friends...great guys...he was allowed to use the phone for 45 minutes and he said he thought he might be able to call us again on Sunday...he wanted to talk to his younger brother but, he was at a basketball game...they are so close so that was sad...but hopefully Sunday..Thank you God!!!

Hey.... My son is 11/106.. I got a call from him yesterday... How is everyone

I got another letter from Danny yesterday and he sounds great...he said the time is going fast and the whole division passed a test He sounds so excited to move onto the next part of training in bootcamp.  This weekend we will make our reservations at a hotel and get the plane tickets for all five of us..28 days till graduation..the first week was soooo long unbearable second week too but as soon as I heard from him and know that he is doing so great and knowing he feels he made the best decision of his life the time is going by so fast now..I wonder if A school will be boring compared to all this bootcamp stuff...i would welcome the boring...I need a nap!
