I'm so excited! I got to chat online with my son today! Their division is suppose to get a chance to call tomorrow evening between 4:00 and 6:00 so stay close to your phones. They were suppose to get an hour but they got that wittled down to 10 minutes but a call is a call. So stay close to your phones! Can you tell I'm excited!lol
AAAHHHHH! Seriously?!! I almost cried right now when I realized you were in my division and not posting to the general board!
How on earth did you get to chat with him!?? And how on earth did they go from 1 hour to ten minutes?! Hahaha. I will take whatever I can get :)
Amac23, I was just playing Words with my sister on facebook and all of a sudden I get an IM saying hey mom! My SR is going into a job that takes a very high security check and he was doing stuff online and asked me for some addresses and phone numbers so he was able to chat for about 30 minutes! Couldn't believe it! Anyway, I have no clue how they ended up with only 10 minutes. I'm hoping they don't lose their time completely. I know we will be all disapointed if we don't get a call! I have to work until 6:00 today so I won't be able to talk to him myself but my husband will be getting the call if all goes well. Have a good day!
Did you get the call? Seems others did too, but I sure did not :(
Yes, he did call. My husband took the call since I had to work until 6:00. Husband said it was pretty short, about 7 minutes. Maybe your husband was assigned to watch or something. Maybe they will let him call this weekend yet. Hope you get a call soon!
I'm glad you guys heard from him :) I am praying for that call today!!
Just wanted to make sure you all received calls today. Mine was around 3:20 (PST). It was short but it was good to hear from him. He has been sick but sounded positive overall. Also, received my letter today - whew!- I was quite sad when I did not get it yesterday. Looks like he wrote it on Monday instead of Sunday. Hoping you all got calls!
I will try, thanks. I was on edge all day - so giddy waiting to hear from him. It was just a really sad evening :)
Got more letters and my husband is saying that the whole division is doing really, pulling together, maturing, and getting a little slack from the RDC because of it. Three more fridays, ladies!
