My daughter in on Ship 11, div. 102. Anyone else in that same Div.???
Tags:
Well, My daughter was on bed rest last fri.. as well. She has respitory issues also. But she will not go to medical either. They are looking for anything to send them home. They all know this. Hopefully they gave him some antibiotics...
She made up her missed time on sunday,. So she is not behind. She did say this past week was Hell week. So hope they are getting past that so they can at least get well.
VERY hard to not be able to "mother "them. But I guess they have to figure all this out for themselves. My daughter will not quit after all this stuff shes been thru. She even missed her time to call home. Stinks, cuz I carry my phone wherever I go.
Hang in there, he will make it and so will you. He will make you proud., At least he is doing everything possible to stay in there.
According to what I'm reading, it's extremely common to get pneumonia in BC... so I'm starting to calm down a bit... just a bit. I guess the first week they give them vaccines to build their immunity, for anything they may encounter. Then with a 1000 recruits from all over the country, the stress, physical activity... it's pretty common. I just worry. Pneumonia scars the lungs. All I can do is pray. The public affairs number is handy - just incase. It's 847-688-2405... in case anyone needs it, but I'll hold off. Sounds like this was last week when he wrote this since he'd said next week was hell week and your daughter said she just got thru hell week.I just hope he takes care of himself. Thank you for your support though.
Why not call?? Go ahead, it wont hurt anything and possibly you will get some piece of mind. Also, someone mentioned on another site that it was possibly a complications from all the shots( 8 total) that they give them. She got sick very early on after arriving. But YES, call!!
One good thing is Your son is not is the sick area, or he would have called you to tell you he was there. They call if anything changes with them.
Good Luck, and prayers to you and SR.
Wow! I've been out of touch the last several days and have missed all of the discussions. My daughter too has been sick. She suffered for like 5 days and finally broke down and went to medical. Severe sinus infection. She got antibiotics and was on light duty in her last letter. She also missed her call home so I guess they must have been sick at around the same day.She mentioned in her letter that there were alot of others in the compartment said that Scabies was going around too. Thankfully she didn't have that. So sorry your son and daughter have been sick. Please know that I am praying for all of our kids.I look forward to hearing from you all.
Yes, they are all sick... just got an email from mom in div. 101 that got a call yesterday and she sent message from her daughter to me from my daughter that we in div. 102, have been quarantined for scabies. 101 had been earlier. so it is spreading.
And that they will not be able to make a call til whole div. is able. she said maybe in 2 weeks. My daughter miised the last call due to being on bed rest for one day.
101 said in call that they are starting hell week this week ,then gas chamber, then battlestations. Im assuming we are on the same schedule. 101's call was only 3 minutes, so didnt get much info.
Prayers for our div. to get well and be able to perform top-notch!!!
Got letter yesterday from daughter. She is still sick but will push through. They did Marlinspike last week and out of 10, they got 9.5!! So they are doing great, sick and all!! This week has been Hell week, she said not to expect letters or calls, too busy. We only have 20 days left. We will be attending Sarge's meet & greet. Hope to meet all of you there!!
Do you happen to know what week and day they are on. I've been asking my son to let me know this. but still no answer. I'm thinking today would be week 5 day 5.
