I got a call too !!  He sounded GREAT !!  Even better then the first call.  Said pretty much the same thing.  Their Division is working together really good, making great scores.  I am so syked (sp).  Come on PIR !  You can't come to soon for me !!  Yes, Sancy, I totally agree........GOD BLESS OUR SONS AND GOD BLESS THE USA !!  Go 809 can you hear all us Mom's cheering !!!!!!

woohoo on the phone calls. So happy for all of you.

still no call, hopefully tomorrow...But not untill I am home from work, there is no cell phone service at my work.

Another question... my son said 809 is going for "Hall of Fame."   Does anyone know excatly what that is? Again, probably a veteran mom can shed light. Just maybe a newbie mom will know if their son has explained it to them.  Sounds exciting though. I hope they are successful!

Does anybody know about how long before PIR, do we get the phone call that our son is a salior? it seems to be getting down to the wire, to make all the final arrangements. To arrive there with no worries about weather and making a few stops along the way we have to leave on the 25th. I am hopeing not to take off, and then have something happen and he doesn't graduate and we drive all the way there. not that I have any reason to think he wont pass, it just is a little nerve racking waiting to hear that all is passed and good to go.... please tell me we will know before then!?

Also no phone call yet......, Bummer!

Cor, I sore hope you get your call soon, you must be anxious! that freaks me out a little...so I guess you drive there on hope that all goes well! wow a little risky...hopefully all will turn out well, and that we have cell phone reception as we drive:).

I got a letter today, it said he was going to call me on Monday, which has past, so I guess he thought he was calling and then didnt, hum,,,,,well hopefully he will get another chance. He said hell week wasnt to bad! He said after PIR he has the whole day for liberty untill 10:00pm, so that is awesome!!! he sounds great and said he is really excited for A- school!

Good idea old lady. They have no idea whats going on in the world these days and most of them will be happy just seeing beyond the base.  My son told me that when they were marching they could see the parking lot with families picking up and dropping off PIR weekend. He couldnt wait for his turn.

Once they get to BUDs the communication will get scarce again. Some of the moms use a happy face or heart text at the end of the day.

No, I haven't.  But it is my understanding that we are not supposed to post dates like that.

I have a tentative date for Coronado, if anyone is interested, I can PM you.

Sjtina, Oh gosh yes. :)  I don't know how you PM me on here.  Do you need my email address.?

Your inbox up top on the right will now have a message.
