Yes.  There are four of us that have been talking on FB.  How are you doing?  I just got three letters today from my son.  I'm happy.  I did pretty well for the first few weeks but it has been hitting me harder these last few days.

Lori, I felt exactly the same.  He was so excited to leave and confident with his decision and I was so proud of him.  I was beginning to wonder if I was normal for not getting upset.  However, my emotions caught up to me a little last week.  I was really down by the end of the week.  And then he called on Monday and I was fine again.  Now I patiently await letters or another call.

Kind of thought we might get a call today.  I was vacuming with the cell phone in one pocket and the house phone in the other pocket.  So I wouldn't miss it.  No call.  Oh well.  I'm friends on FB now with Madision.

I received 1 phone call but nothing since.  Has anyone else received any phone calls?  I did get 2 letters so far.  Is there any clue as to when their Battle Stations test will be?

I've gotten 2 calls and about 7 letters. No word on Battlestation that I know of. I'm guessing its soon though Anxious for more news and the I'm a sailor call.

This is Diana from our other group. We are almost there!!!

I received a letter from my son this week saying that Battlestations will start Tuesday (03/27).  I believe it said it starts at 7:00 pm and goes to 7:00 am on the 28th.  I am under the impression we should get our phone calls Wednesday sometime.

That is great to have that information!!! Fortunately, I was able to take this whole week off to get ready for the trip. I will be praying for all our boys!!!!

Thanks for the information.  We will be driving into Great Lakes Thursday the 29th.  I am so anxious to see my son and that ornery smile of his that makes his Mother laugh all of the time.  I have missed him so much, but I am so proud of him.  It stinks that we only get one day and then they're off again for another 6 weeks.  But at least we can have some contact with them at A-School.  I will be praying that they all pass their Battle Stations.  Good Luck to all of your recruits and I will see you all at graduation.

Thanks for the information on Battlestations.  today would be Captains Cup.  I wonder how that is going.  We will be heading out thursday morning also.  We will be driving all day.  I can't wait though.  Almost there.

It is now Tuesday. Battleships should be tonight! Got my blue candle ready!

I'm hoping I can sleep tonight. I've already been thinking about Battlestation all day.
