OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

thinking about all of the families with SR's who were sent home or put on "hold" and won't be joining us at PIR...

May you set aside your fears, worries, & frustrations. May you notice & give thanks for all that is right in your world. May the Lord become especially real to you in the coming days. And may you grow in your capacity to thank and trust Him in every circumstance. Enjoy sweet rest tonight my dear ones.

Shari, thank you for your calming words. I believe that God works through others. I  can't believe that the time is nearing when we will see our kids. I will continue to pray that God gives them strength to get through each hour of each day. Talk to you soon my friend.

((hug)) it won't be long now!

Do not worry about anything... but in everything with prayer & thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Rest deeply these next few nights as you trust in Him. He watches over your coming and going both now and forever more. amen

As you get ready to crawl into bed tonight, may you hand Jesus your worries and grab hold of His peace. May you lay down your hurts and hold close His daily mercies. As you crawl under the covers, remember you are under the shadow of His wing. He will guard your heart and your mind. Relax your grip. Sleep well.

...only three more sleeps til PIR...peace & every blessing to you all!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly more than we could ask or imagine, to Him be the glory...one more sleep til PIR!

Bless the Lord, o my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name... for He has done great things!!!
