While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

yes we have a few who have twins in . My friend Nancy had both of her boys graduating last weekend :). If you have any questions just look up my page just click on my page and look for Nancy on my friends list. She's very nice and very helpful :))).

Thank you so much! That is wonderful! We all have unique situations, and very special children. And it sometimes takes others to help hook us up with the very one that can change it all! I am a bit ahead of her, as my two graduated a month ago, so perhaps I can even help enlighten her a bit! God Bless and thanks again!

I know a set of twins PIRed with my son. Not sure how many sets of twins we have on this site but there certainly is a lot of families that have multiple children serving at the same time.

When did your son PIR? My boys were in the same division and PIR'd 8-8-08. It is nice to get comfort from so many other moms!

My boys left in June for GL and PIR'd 8-8-08 (making for a grand way to remember, plus being the start of the Summer Olympics!) and were in Div.280. Thank you so much for the prayers, we are all in need of them, and can really be there for each other! What stage of the navy is your wonderful youngster in?

We have a mom in our yahoo group who sent one to the Marines and then one week later her other one to the navy. The one in the navy just graduated and the one in the marines is still in boot. Bad enough to send one, two are really rough. I'll have to let Barb know there are some in here that have two in at the same time.
We have a mom who has 7 of her 9 kids in the military. I think she may win the prize. She just deployed her daughter and I think two others are deployed at this time. They are mostly Army I think but two or three of her boys are navy. She has I think 3 sets of twins.

You know, God has a way of showing us that we are more blessed than what we think. We can at times be so absorbed into ourselves that we tend to forget others are really more unfortunate than we are. What a wonderfully strong lady she must be to have to deal with what I thought was difficult! Thanks, and Godspeed!

Thanks for responding, and may also be a help or a blessing to your friend. It has been tough, going from the normal noise of two (the good and the bad!) to the total quiet! I still can't find it in me to do anything with their rooms, and I hope strongly that they did not leave something that may take over and be "growing" that shouldn't! Sweet boys that they were, they made sure (unbeknownst to their mom at the time) to have others check on me, or call on me, or invite me to doing things to keep my time busy! I am so amazed at how strong that one mom must be to have 7 children in at the same time, she must be one tough lady! I know my heart couldn't take it! And wow, 3 sets of twins!!!! :0)

Hi Kim ann, I have a set of twin boys, but one in the Navy and one in the Air Force. It is hard for us but it is also hard for them, especially if they are close. I know that my boys keep in touch with each other and talk quite often, more than they do with their momma. There is a group called mothers with more than one, you should probably join that. It is rewarding seeing them grow and becoming wonderful young men doing what they have chosen to do. My are like day and night Adam, my Air Force son is flight crew on the AWACCS and Josh is in sub school. If you just want to talk or whatever feel free to contact me....HUGS Kathie
