Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Monica I found 2 or 3 other people on the Facebook page but don't see them on here yet. I keep trying and someone even tried to play Trivia Tuesday for 3/113!

yes to you sams mom! haahaa!! no worries the more the merrier, the way i see it were all going to the same graduation lol! no difference here :) well congrats on your hotel arrangements...im barely purchasing my flight today....thats all i could afford...so i guess going to have to wait for hotel arrangements to the bitter last minute...scary i know but no choice....

@ Karen so you arriving on the 3rd...so am i! i should arrive in chicago at 12:20 p.m from California...when you set to arrive Karen and where you staying...i know i probably have asked you already or i believe you posted it..

We are getting there on Wednesday around 12:30 Il. time. We rented a car and are staying at the Fairfield in Gernee . We will be on a plane home on Saturday. Would love if we all could meet up. Would be fun.Everyone PM me if you would like to make this happen. Where is everyone now that the Navy Facebook Page is down for a couple of days? LOL I guess outside enjoying this weather!

so question......are our srs set to leave early the day after graduation?????????????? been reading other forums and some of them have mentioned that their kids will be leaving to their A school early at 4:00 a.m..

I saw that too. Won't know till we get the I'm a Sailor call. That is when I think they will have the info. Wish I had know about this before I booked the flight!

I'm sitting here balling my eyes out!!! 3 Letters count them 3!! And he sounds so good. I'm am so happy for him and proud of him. He is 3/113. Says he got his second ribbon, its for marksman not sure what the first was for but he did pass his PFA the first time so maybe it was for that. Says his division has 6 flags. Says he saw last weeks Sailors go in for graduation and then saw them the next day in their NSUs! Says he can't wait to wear his. Oh I'm so happy I could bust. Thanks for listening and if there are any typos sorry, fingers are moving faster then my mind! LOL

Many with great connections and advice. Join the boot camp one and the PIR 4/6 one. There is so much to this site you could get lost! LOL
