Is there no one else in this ship, I am gonna sink all by myself......this seems to be my life story............always by myself........I am getting lonely over here.

yes, my son is.

You are never alone here.

Okay...I dont know how to do this..I'm new...my son is in ship 11 div 141

well I guess there are only 3 of us... Have either of you heard anyting from your SR?  I know it's a long shot but I was just curious.

Have ot heard from him yet, but I have written three times to him so far. Hope he gets them.

We haven't heard from him either.  We've all written several letters, so hopefully he is getting those.  Would be wonderful if we all got a letter from our boys in the next couple of days!

same here... I sent two letters last week and 2 more this week.  I am sending one of the questionnaires this week.  The first one was the I'm proud of you heart to heart one and the rest has been keeping him up to date on his sports and stuff like that.  I have also been sending the notes that were wrote at his party for him.  I was telling my husband, Lamar, earlier I cannot believe that 2 weeks have already went by.  I had a meltdown on Friday and he had his last night.  There is a site for dads and I have told him to go check it out.  I know we are here to help each other thru but sometimes it helps to talk to the same sex that is going thru it also.

What is the site for dads? If you don't mind I can give it to Ted. That way he can understand things to. I will be so glad when I get Teddy's first letter.
That would be so nice if we all did. As soon as I receive anything I will post. No news is good news. He still has not called back either which still upsets me. I am really sorry that I missed his call. I just wish he would call back.
My son is also 11/141... I have yet to hear from him but hoping it's soon...
