hello becca welcome!!

wooohoooo 9 days till chicago for me...yeeeehawww.....recieved letters from my daughter....said she is doing great...division is doing awesome...wooohooo....cant wait to see her...cant wait to enjoy chicago.

I received a letter today from me SR! He said the division received another flag for an inspection they had. It was either last Monday or Tuesday. He thinks they are able to earn one or two more. He is also the SR in charge of scheduling the watches. He has been for weeks now, but since I'm new to the group I thought I would share. He says its stressful but he tries hard to get it done right.

Hey I got a letter too and in it he said they got all their flags. Said they are moving right along. I booked flights and hotel. We plan on flying in on Wednesday April 4 and landing around 1:30 in the afternoon. We will be staying at the Fairfield Inn in Gurnee and we rented a car. We fly back home Saturday April 7 at 8 in the morning. Would love to meet everyone either for drinks or at a meet n greet. I heard Sarge puts on a good m&g so lets start making plans. Need everyones input

Yay!  I finally got my computer back....i felt so lost and disconnected.  Sad how we depend on computers so much huh?  I'll be landing at Ohare on Thursday around 4pm.  Rented a car as well since my SR said the base alone was "over 5 miles big"...no tellin what that really means knowing her and how she phrases things lol.  I'm leaving Saturday morning on a 7am flight, but i would LOVE to meet everyone at some point.  Sarge's sounds good to me, although I have no idea where it is....hellooooo Mapquest LOL!  I should be able to meet up with everyone by 7ish, assuming I don't run into terrible traffic.  When I lived there many years ago, it was always a decent dose of hell to try and travel anywhere in a reasonable amount of time and back then, I was smart enough to avoid O'hare at all costs, so airport traffic will be a new experience for me there....not looking forward to it to be honest.  But, I shall battle and conquor it with purpose!  :)  Nothing shall keep me from my kidlette!

What is Sarge's? I asked my SR's Mom if they would want to meet everyone and she said that it would be nice. We get in Thursday around 10:30 AM

OK! Google Maps says it's 266 feet from our hotel!
