My daughter is in Ship 12 Div 154.  I got the letter today, I was hoping for a personal note.  No note but at least I can send her letters to her now.

I was sooo disappointed when I checked the mail today and the letter still wasn't there. I haven't mailed anything to her yet but will mail on Saturday even if I haven't received the form letter. I got the Ship/Div info from her recruiter but went to the RTC site for the correct address. Know she will PIR on 5/18 because of the division number.  I will wait for the actual form letter to make hotel reservations so I will have all the information I need at hand.

Where do you live? We live near Houston, TX.

I was so glad to get the letter, I keep worrying, I know everything is fine but it is so weird not knowing anything of what she is doing.  We live near Pittsburgh, PA.

Hoping I will receive the letter tomorrow. I think I will be able to relax a little more after I get the "official" letter. I am looking forward to meeting you and your daughter at PIR. Would be great if they end up as friends during BC.

That would be nice.  We told her to try and make friends when she got there. She is a bit quiet, I am still amazed she decided to join the Navy.  I was curious to know how many girls there were. When she left Pittsburgh, she was the only one.  There were Army, Coast Guard, National Guard and Air Force but she was the only one leaving for the Navy.

My daughter is also in Ship 12 Div 154. I was so happy the letter came today! I am with you on the note...would sure have loved  to have received even a small message from her, but now we can write letters to her and soon we should receive our first letter from her! :)

We sent out about 10 letters yesterday.  I have read on here that usually on the third week they make a phone call, that would be really nice.  I am looking at hotels now to make reservations for PIR.I guess in no time they will be graduating.

Woohoo!!!! Got the letter today! All information confirmed.  I am so relieved.  I didn't have a note from her. I didn't even see a space for her to write anything on the letter I received. How about you guys? Guess she could have written something on the back page but didn't. Probably too tired!  Hope all of you are having a great day today. Getting ready to head to Dallas for the weekend for a cousins wedding reception. Won't be posting again until Sunday probably.  Have a great weekend.

Hope everyone had a great week-end.  Had a really good trip with my husband, mother-in-law & grandmother-in-law. Have all reservations made for PIR which is a real relief for me. I am a planner and HATE to wait until the last minute to get things scheduled! lol.

Thanks for the offer to hang here until someone joins me in ship12/div153....don't want to miss anything.

Happy to have you with us.  Is your SR a son or daughter? Where are you from?

My daughter is the SR and we are from the Houston area.

My son is also 12/Div 154
