Thanks. Actually, I'm doing really well. I miss my son but am so excited for his opportunity. And I know this is what he wants to do so I'm very happy for him. Of course, I miss him but I'm handling it OK. I do have a lot of questions so I'm working on finding the answers here, RTC, and from my SR. :-)

Aggieland is what we Aggies call College Station, home of Texas A&M University! It is about 100 miles northest of Houston by way US290 and Hwy 6.

Oh Okay..I worked for the airlines and retire there and I got a job with the Auburn  University Extension Office which is offices that handle the rural area..farmers, soil samples, gardening. I miss my son also but by the letters I get he is Okay..he has made a lot of friends and hangs with about 4 or 5 but he gave me their last names  which you know can not be published. I did write and ask what city and state so us mom could figure it out (maybe) did you tell me was his rate was..AE or Am ect? I think my son (AM structure will be in A-school in Pensacola..

Welcome sjbaggie...

What happened with 127?
Hello,
Saw my son's check deposited today, boy was it low . . .

I saw that too..but I have seen somewhere that their uniforms are over 600.00.  I was upset that it all went into his checking and I thought they pulled some in to savings..unless it goes into another account

Hi sjbaggie.  Welcome to the group.

Welcome aboard SJBAggie83!

Welcome SJBaggie to the group! I'm new too but this group is a good one!

Welcome Miss LaLa

Thanks for the welcome! Reading all the postal helps me feel better! I can't wait to go see him! I got a letter Wednesday saying he missed his chance to call Sunday because of ship watch but he misses me very much and he ruined his envelopes so I sent him a big care package of stamps and envelopes :) tomorrow I will be sending pictures :) ! I hope for the others who got a call that they are doing good and glad some got calls! :) my mom decided to April fools me today and told me I missed his call while I was at church and I cried and felt bad so now they are taking me to my favorite place for dinner! :)
