Hi All,

My husband is also in this division and I am going to PIR.  I am in Murfreesboro, TN.  I am the girl Kim was referring to, i was trying to join, but it takes forever for an approval so you can post messages!!!  I am super excited to be a part of all this, but devastated from my lack of husband and father for our son.  We can get through it together!!

Rachel - so glad you finally got your approval and got here!!!!  Great ladies here and always so supportive.  Going to help mow (my sweet little SR not here to do it!) and will catch up with you soon.

Kim

Hello Div 142 -- If you go to our PIR page you will see that I posted --- "Got a letter from my SR today."  So exciting.  He spoke about alot of the guys he is with -- oh ya -- we are an all guy division!  Said he has made some good friends and that the DIV is working well together.  YAAAAAAA -- Hope that means a phone call on Sunday!  Letter was postmarked yesterday.  Hope all of you get letters soon too.  My SR said that I should try to mail more than one piece of paper in an envelope as it was embarrassing to get lots of letters when others didn't even get one piece of mail.  All I can say is write to your SR.  It is important to them.

Have a great evening -- Dani

Dani - I am so excited and so jealous too!!!!  I hope my son actually wrote to us .... I sent him some paper, envelopes and stamps just this week, so hopefully he got those among the 2 letters per day.  I have sent him a note from me and then notes from friends that I collected at his going away party.  I would be happy to write to any of them that aren't getting mail!  lol - my SR might be glad for me to write to someone else too as I have been sending him at least 1.5 page letters everyday.  Not to mention what is coming from other friends and family members.

Anyway - i am so excited that you shared and that your son gave you so much info about how things are going for them.

Kim

Received a letter from my SR on Thursday 3/29.  He's been ill hope this does not delay his graduation.  At least he had the know to go to sick call.

Hi all,

Just wanted to say i got three separate letters a total of 14 pages!  Happy to hear from my hubby, hard to see he misses us so much.  Cant wait until the next round of letters!

My boyfriend is in this division!!! I really hope that i can make it to PIR... its something that i dont want to miss!!!!

Welcome navymansgirl!  Hope to see you PIR!

Welcome to you navymansgirl.....I hope you get to attend too.  Will be such a wonderful event.  Can't wait to see my son and I can't imagine if it were my BF or husband that was gone.  I wish you luck on getting to attend!

Kim

OMG i got my letters today!! 3 of them!!! My boyfriend said hes doing fine its hard some days but hes adjusting because he has me and our future baby to keep him motivated!!! He said a few people got set back and that hes bonding with the division! He also made AROC!!! Im so proud of him!!! I think that it may be a bit easier for me to go to PIR but im still debating cause i have to worry about bills and my ferrets. They cant be left for more than a day and i have no one to take care of them. But ill figure it out! Im making every effort to make it there!!!!

My husband and I will be at PIR too.  Does anyone know what happens if their PIR is delayed to to illness?

From what i understand, if they are delayed the just graduate with a different division.
