Nice to meet you,  My son is in Ship 4 DIV 151,  we are from Denver Colorado   Karen

Hello to all... Glad to have found this group. My son, Stephen, is also on Ship 04/Div 151.  So happy to meet all of you.  We are from Colorado, too, (originally from Chicago.  In fact, not too far from where boot camp is) Karen, perhaps bumped into you at swearing in. :)  I'm also an RN working with older adults, at the opposite spectrum from your speciality.  Have you looked into airline tickets yet?  Am so looking forward to hearing his voice beyond the 10 seconds the day of boot camp arrival. T-shirts and ribbons sound fabulous...will need to get bunches of ribbons for all the family and friends.

We got the "form" letter with the very specific address last week, now want to hear the voice.  Hope not to miss the call.

Inge

Hello- my son Derrick is in Ship 4 DIV 151, we are from a small town in Bloomfield NM.  I am excited to find all of you here.  Michelle

Hi Karen,
We are in Keller, TX just 25 min from Dallas. Have you looked at the ribbons that Lala Ribbon Queen does, crazy cute. I asked who would wear them and she said anyone attending PIR and then also for keepsakes for other family and friends not able to make graduation. Please post when you get the first phone call. I literally have my phone every where I am, I am worried about being at Mass, my phone will be on vibrate!

Hi Patty,

I have not seen the ribbons, will need to look for those.  I know there are Division t shirts that families order.  I am also worried about missing the phone call.  I am a RN in the neonatal intensive care unit.  I carry my phone with me but I often miss calls.  I told Ryan that should he ever call and not get an answer to leave a long message, but I do hope he catches me at home.   It was great to receive "the letter" but I wish he had written just one line on how he is doing.

Karen

Hi, here is the link to Lala ribbon page

Wher do we get the t-shirts?

Have a great day,

Patty

Hi,  The moms on "Boot Camp"  were talking about the divison t shirts.  Here is the link

http://usnavytees.com/Home_Page.php

We are supposed to ask if our SR has ordered them already for the family.   Not likely my son would do that!   We have to wait to order them because they need the design from the divison, so we do have time to ask.

As for the phone call, I am gathering from the other moms that it will come during the week usually week 3 or 4 at about 3:30pm pacific time.  Thats 4:30 for me (mountain)  and 5:30 in chicago.  I told my RN  friends at work that we were going to take turns holding my phone if I have to be tied up for a procedure.

Karen

I received the form letter on 4/2/12, but my son did not write a personal note either. :(

Hi there, nice to meet you. Just read something about our SR's possibly calling on Sat. or Sun. Oh my Easter Sunday coming and I'll have my cell on vibrate and will end up dashing out of Mass!!

Hi nice to meet you.  I cant believe it has been two weeks already.  Hopefully a phone call soon
