Hi everyone,
I got another letter. My husband was in much better spirits, he was more confident, and happier. They finished their first PT test, swim test, and written test. I am very excited about this letter. So much more upbeat!
I just got a less than 2 minute phone call from my boyfriend but he got cut short because a fire alarm went off or something... it was so good to hear his voice even if it was so short. i really do hope they get to call back. i mean they would let them if that happened would they? OMG i miss him so much!
I received a call from my SR today. Came in at 3:45 p.m. CST. We were on the phone for about 15 minutes. It was great to hear his voice. He said the Division has some work to do before they start working as a team. He is hopeful that this will happen soon. He did not have his wisdom teeth pulled. He has not been to SIQ even though he wasn't feeling well. He said he would rather tough it out because he doesn't want to miss PIR on 5/11. I hope others received a call today too. Sure was good to hear from him.
did he get cut off? like did he say they had a fire drill or alarm or something?
Brandy -- He did have to go quickly but did not say why.
i really hope that i can hear from him again soon... i dont think its fair that it was so short while others had 20 min....but i guess thats just how they are....
Hi everyone,
I got letters from my SR yesterday. They were so upbeat and positive. I would like to thank all of you who thought of me in your calls and letters. I feel so reassured knowing i have each and everyone of you. I know that a few of us didnt get calls yesterday and i am hoping and praying that today its our turn. Every day is a day closer to being with our loved ones again. Thanks again.
I got a letter yesterday also from my SR. He was really positive about all the things going on. He had to have one wisdom tooth pulled and was out on SIQ for one day. He tells me is really intense but he feels like he's going to make it. He told me several people already dropped out. He also told me in his letter to disregard the 3-4 max request for letters, he told me I could write him every day. That's a good sign. When he was at home he barely wanted to hear what I said. It was always XBOX friends. When he called on Wednesday while I was driving home from work I asked him if he felt "grown up" yet. He said no but i'm getting there. I am so proud of all of these men and women. Can hardly believe my boy is becoming a man. GO NAVY.
Hi,
Just wanted to let everyone know i received another letter today! In this letter my SR thought he was going to be able to call last wednesday, but never did. He is very happy and motivated. He is doing really well and feels confident that he will make it to the end. Phone call or not, these types of letters keep my spirits up. He did mention a few boys, but i didnt notice any of the names, so perhaps we just havent found those members of our division yet. The countdown is on ladies, just about a month to go!
Where are my Division 142 buddies? We haven't been very active the last few days. I hope everyone is doing okay.
I'm doing well, tomorrow is letter day!
