Oh and said he would love some pictures but try to send them in separate envelopes so it won't be so thick. If they're too thick he has to open them up in front of his R.D.C. So I thought I'd pass that information on to all you ladies!! We don't want to embarrass them. lol
Oh thank you! He asked me for envelopes and I just sent about 25 in a manila envelope but that was all that was in that one. Hopefully not too embarrassing. :)
Hi all! I'm so glad to see so many that have gotten phone calls and letters! Littlefoot is the go to person for my SR's phone calls, since my son is her hubby :) So, I'm not expecting a phone call but would really like to see a letter addressed to me. Thanks, Lf, for sending him some envelopes! Hopefully he'll get a letter out to his mom sometime soon. I like your profile picture too, it made me cry but in the good way!
Happy Thursday, all! And just remember, 36 more days til PIR!! :)
Yay! Glad you joined the site codersmom :)
Time seems to be crawling...
That's what I keep telling myself. I honestly think it's the only thing getting me through. The 11th is a month. Just think, 4 weeks. Will be here before I know it. I'm sorry to hear about your son loosing his job. They are awfully hard on them in there though. I hope he didn't take it too hard. I'm so ready for the next phone call. At least we know though that the phone calls are privileges and if they do well, maybe they will get more :) soon even!
If I know my son he won't let it get in the way. He brushed himself off and got back on the bike. LOL On a happier note I found out late Sunday night that we (he) has a girlfriend now. It's a girl he was talking to before he left. They have known each other for a while but didn't' think they liked each other. ha,ha Oh to be that young again. ha,ha,ha,ha Unlike others I have read about we are rather happy about the news. At least he has someone to share this with and has more than just the support of family. Sometimes you just need someone else's support other than mom's. Even if we don't want to admit it. Praying for phone calls soon!
If anyone is interested there is now a Facebook Page called Family with PIR 5/11!!!
me too... thanks
