Got my husband's form letter on Monday, March 5. It was postmarked on March 1, so I'm thinking it takes about 2-3 business days to get from there to Austin, Texas. Hope that's helpful for anyone.

If anyone else's loved one is in this ship/division, please let me know. He's an AECF. I don't want anyone to go without letters so I was going to ask him if there was a particularly lonely recruit and organize some sort-of letter writing campaign so no one feels left out.

i got a phone call also, i was shopping with my daughter and recognized the area code on the phone and started running through the store yelling "katelyn its your brother"  i was so excited i hung up on him but thank goodness he called back.  he was still sick also.  said that they told him it probably won't go away until bootcamp is all done.  i was so excited to hear his voice i can't even remember half of what he said.  i just remembering saying i love you and i miss you at least 50 times.  said that his division is scoring really well on stuff.  way to go division 127!!!!  that was the best easter present the easter bunny could ever bring.  we are on the countdown and i cannot wait to see him.  i started crying in the store after i was done talking to him.  i got a good 20 minute conversation though:)  HAPPY EASTER TO ALL THE MOMS OF DIVISION 127!!!

that's great news, nothing like an unexpected phone call. join my group on facebook

www.facebook.com/groups/342887589096831/

is this another fb page, there is already one ... cant they combine ?

when i started the group it was the only one, someone else must have started another one.

i am like you, i was screaming in our house when the call came ... my daughter thinks i am nuts ... we talked also long and i am like you, i told him (feels like a million times) many times that i love him, that i am proud of him, that i am missing him so much, i cant wait to put my hands on him and squeeze him ...HAPPY EASTER TO YOU AS WELL   and yes they must do well after a rough start that they got  this bonus call ...18 more days ... we got our rooms reserved now ...

I wish we could just have one FB page...then we would all be united as one. :)

Hi y'all....i didn't mean to mess up your group on fbook by making another group.....I just saw that several people kept looking for a fbook group for this division and no one was responding, so i just made a group for you guys since we have so much fun on ours.  i'm not even in your division i'm in 131...well my son is anyway....so there will be no hurt feelings if you all leave the group and go to the first one.....

which one is yours?

you didn't mess up my fb group, when the recruit command said they were taking their forums away i started a page on fb so that the people that were originally in the group could stay in touch. it's really not a big deal.

Got everything booked to go see my SR on the 27th of April. Now just wait for the day to come and take loads of pics.I heard from my Sr on Monday and he told me to cook loads of food and bring with me and his father on the plane.. He commented that the base food is great he just wants my cooking lol.. To all parents looking for hotels close to the base contact : Great Lakes Navy Lodge  they are only 1 mile away from the base.. Hope this helps all of you..

I booked mine the week after he left...lol..I could not wait.  I went with the Hilton since we get points.  We are flying into Milwaukee due to less traffic and staying till Monday.   Should be fun!
