If I cant make it, I will be sure to give you his name. Thank you so much for the help, Im sure it would mean alot to him to know that I tried to make it, and trust me, I will do everything in my power to make it up north to see him and hopefully his family can go up to see him too, and yes they live here in Florida too. Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it <3
Im waiting for his letter in return, hopefully I'll get it next week. Is he able to add people to the list during his stay at boot camp? No I havent tried talking to his family...but we have mutual friends that find out information for me. I could probably find out if I was on that list by asking his mom, hopefully she understands me. Than you :)
from what i understand they can add up to the week before, but don't quote me on that, i think that is what i heard. my heart goes out to you, if it were me i would call his mom and talk from your heart, i will pray that she understands and that whatever hurts can be healed.
Please don't feel guilty for receiving a letter! At least we know through this forum that some are and some aren't. Three weeks today for me and I keep telling myself that my son isn't much of a writer, he's probably exhausted, etc. We did send him with phone cards and have sent self addressed stamped envelopes but still nothing. What you said about people being sent home left and right is concerning. Do you know why?
I received a letter from my daughter she told me all is good except for the blisters on her feet but she just received her combat boots so her feet should get better she also said that div 153 is co-ed and its kinda scary living with all these people she don't know and that the RDC are not that bad.
I hope showers are at least divided male/ female at least !! she said they are also sharing a compartment with another DIV Hey i have been hearing that we only get to spend the evening of PIR with them then they are off to school has anyone heard of anyone getting Saturday leave with family as well we have already booked the car and hotel for the entire weekend.
I will try to talk to his mom, I have to mentally prepare myself to talk to her. But thank you so much and I will keep you all posted on any upcoming news :)
will keep you in my thoughts, anyone who supports those who defend our freedoms is all right in my book, hope it works out for the best, these things usually do one way or another. positive thoughts = postive actions
Thank you so much
ACWOLF Im happy you where able to get some news Do you know where he will be going to school @ ?
He is going in Texas... He is going to be a corpsman... What about ur SR?
And yes the division is integrated as he put it... They r mixed with girls.. But he said they sleep in separate "houses" with DIV 154 males...
