Hi Tias Mom,

   My son Daniel is a drummer.....A cadence is the music played by percussionists, usually in marching bands....If you haven't seen it, watch the movie "Drumline".....percussionists love this movie! But you don't have to be one to love it as well!!!

Sorry, I've been traveling and not much time to be on site.  See that you got responses to your questions.  :)  Hoping that our phones both ring tomorrow as it would be great to hear their voices.

Thanks laur, I had just looked it up on the internet as well.. LOL I sure hope they get a phone call. The 27th can not get here fast enough

It'll be here before you know it!!!! I, too, can't wait! I miss my Daniel....He hasn't told me that he is in the musical division...I am assuming that he will be playing the snare drum....He has been into music since his entire life.....and do I miss hearing him play! But more than that, I just miss HIM!!!! Do you have other children besides Tia? I have another son, Anthony. He is older than Daniel and in college.....sigh....my nest is empty!   Take care and talk to you soon! Laura

Hi Laur, yes I have on older son he is 25 and Tia is 23 my nest too is empty except for the puppies

FYI: Got a letter from my daughter last night. Sounds like she is completely exhausted.

Hi Chocoholic, yes my daughter too. She said these next couple weeks will be busy busy busy, go go go. She said she was sorry for not writing me on Saturday , but she explained that one of the RDC allowed them to go to be an hour early and she said it took her .01 seconds to get in there and fall asleep. They are almost done. Thank the Lord

Tias Mom...my Anthony is 23....my Daniel will be  20 in May....sob......No letter or call from Daniel....maybe tomorrow evening....my phone will be glued go my hand!!!!!

Did anyone get pics from the other familys that had PIR today?

One of the Navy moms who attended PIR today posted a link to her Facebook and there are some good pics of the band.  I think that may be my son on the Quads (had to blow up the picture) but think it could be him.  I had heard that div 924 might be performing at today's PIR.  Any other 924 moms see their kids?  If this link doesn't open, you'll see her posting under the 900 group.

I could just be a crazy mama missing her one and only and hoping of all hopes that it's him.  :}
