My son's on Ship 2, Div-925 anyone else with an SR in that group?  We can all comment and keep in touch here in this thread. Looking forward to input from everyone as we share this experience of our SR's progress through boot camp.

I got an hour phone call, sadly it went by so fast. But i am extremely happy. He was saying how one of his friends also got a survey from his mom on navy for moms. he was like you should join a group for my division. clearly i am all over that -_- [= lol. He also told me to get the last names of all of your SR's so he knows hows family i am talking to...i think thats what he said. So if you all wanna message me your SR last name so i can let my boyfriend know to satisfy his curiosity.

There are only 55 of us from PIR 05/04/2012 on NavyforMoms, so that leaves about 649 SRs whose families probably don't even know this site exists. We should ask our recruits to tell the other SRs so they can tell their families.

The BEST way I can think of is to send this web-address to ALL of our SRs, and have them share it with as many recruits as possible:

My gf is in Ship 03 Div 140, is there a reson they arent able to phone home? Is Div 925 a special division with more privileges? Just wondering :)

no, div 925 has to do all the same work that the regular recruits have to do with EXTRA stuff added in they are the Band the Color gaurd that the Riffle team.  They have Extra responsiblity and completely Volunteer.  My daughter is  part of that group and they expect 10 times more and no extra privilage.

I don't think they are anybit more special or have more privileges than anyother division. I think that it was just their scheduled timed to call. Everyone should get a call during either the third or fourth week. But don't let us getting phone calls discourage you at all, yours will come. Don't worry. (: hope this helped.

alrighty thanks!

your welcome (:

HAPPY EASTER everyone! I'm hoping we get a call from our SR's. Haven't heard of any, but IF anyone gets a call, please post ASAP, so everyone can be sure to be ready just in case. :)

When my Boyfriend called on the 30rth i forgot to tell you all that they do perform in earlier graduations just not theres. Which you all have now found out, but it is for sure that they do perform in other graduations, so be prepared for those pictures(:

eHow to write your SR at Navy Boot camp: http://www.ehow.com/how_5840638_write-someone-navy-boot-camp.html

Now, I'm thinking this eHow needs to be re-wrote because I sent screenshots of facebook AND articles on sports, and I was told they crumpled them up and would not give them to him .

Hi everyone!  I reread my letter today and it sounds like 925 will be performing on 4/20 not 4/27 as I had said in my earlier post.  Be watching for those pictures on the RTC Facebook page!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
