I got a letter today (4/11/12) from my fiance... He stated that it is integrated meaning the boys r mixed with the girls... But my SR stated that the boys in DIV 153 (which is the one he is in) sleep separate and r with DIV 154 males... Anyway I posted on SHIP 12 DIV 153 discussion if u want to read more about his letter... But it was so good to hear from him... Anyway I sure do hope u all hear from ur SR soon... My SR stated that they only get an hour on Sundays to write letters at this time... Stay positive and keep sending ur support via mail and cards... They all need it...

I am one happy mom today! I checked the mail and had 2 letters from my daughter! I was so happy.  When I was driving back from town, SHE CALLED ME!!!!! We got to talk for about 20 minutes. She said her division was told earlier this week that they would be getting to call home today. Have any of you received calls from your SR yet?  If not, keep your phone handy.  I hope you all get your calls today.  She also said they may get another call in a couple of weeks.

I asked her what training week/day they are on today.  She said today was week 2 day 5 (2-5) and tomorrow will be 3-1. She said they have really good RDC's who are working hard to make sure they all make it through their BC and pass everything. Please pray for her to pass her 1.5 mile run. She says that is what is giving her the most problems. It is 12 laps around to make the 1.5 miles & the girls have 15 1/2 minutes to run it. She is up to 10 laps in that time and needs to work on her speed to get the extra 2 laps in so she doesn't get ASMOED. I told her to keep working hard at it every day and she will get it and that we all have so much faith in her and are sooo proud of her.

Her call has really lifted my spirits and I know she is doing fine. I hope these next 5 weeks FLY by.

We heard from our SR too!!! Wonderful phone call, I couldn't believe they let them talk for so long. We also got two letters in the mail, so we are definitely very happy here!! She sounded great, we were so pleased at how positive she was. She said she has good and bad days, but overall says things are going well. She passed her swimming, and like your SR was close but needs to pass her run. Says church on Sundays is a haven for her.

In hope these next weeks go quickly as well!!! Whhooohoooooo!!!

What a wonderful day today has turned out to be! I was headed home from work and got a call from my SR! Was able to talk for 47 minutes which shocked me that she could talk this long! She is doing great passed her first written test! She is still a little upset that she didn't pass her first PFT...but she will get 2 more chances! She had a few tears but for the most part sounded great and still loving the daily challenges of BC!

Well, how is everyone today? It has been a rainy, dreary Monday here. I am so happy to be home from work. I have decided that Monday's need to be banned from the work week! lol.  My hubby came home around noon due to a bad allergy attack. He said he is suffering from "medicine head" now. lol

According to the conversation I had with my daughter last Thursday, they are on wk 3 day 2 today. Marlinspike is on Thursday and wk 4 day 1 is on Friday. They will be doing their 2nd PFA that day.  My SR is having a challenging time with her 1 1/2 mile run. I am praying she passes that this time so she can quit worrying about it as much.

Anyone have any news from your SR since Thursday?

no nothing since thurs.  praying for your sr, i am sure it will be fine.  worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but doesn't get you anywhere.  i keep telling myself that.  have a good day, can't wait to meet.

I think she is more worried about it than I am. I have faith in her ability to accomplish whatever she needs to. She is just having to build her stamina back up due to picking up a nasty smoking habit about a year or so ago. She actually said "Mom, why didn't I listen to you about the smoking? You told me it was going to make running more difficult."  I told her she just had the first realization of many more to come that "Mom was right!" lol.  I told her to just make up her mind that she was going to do what it takes to pass the next PFA and she will.

I am really looking forward to meeting you also. 1 month from today (5/17), we will get to meet! 1 month from tomorrow (4 weeks from Friday) they graduate. It will be here before we know it.  I ordered the division t-shirts and PIR ribbons yesterday.  Went on Etsy over the weekend and ordered a shirt and jacket to wear. Will shop for the navy blue pants  and the shoes I will wear after I receive the shirt & jacket to make sure they match.  I decided to wear jeans and the division 154 t-shirt to the meet & greet. Might as well be comfortable.

guess i better order me a t-shirt : )  hugs...yes its nice to hear you were right, i should have listened<3  hmmm shirt & jacket...would love to see.

Hahaha Momship! Love your rocking chair quote!!!!

Has anyone received letters from your SR this week? Still nothing from my daughter today. Hopefully tomorrow. Hope you are all having a good day today.  Our SR's should be taking their pictures toward the end of next week. Thursday, I think. Will have to double check the day-to-day list again.  They had their 2nd PFA's today. Hoping everyone passed and they earn the Olympic Flag for graduation!  Hopefully will hear soon how things went today.

My name is TriziaLee. My Son Austin is in Div 154. My first Son, Anthony is stationed in Japan. Have received 3 letters, but no phone calls.

Welcome to our group TriziaLee. So looks like you have been on this bootcamp rollercoaster ride before. How are you dealing with it this time? Is Austin your youngest or do you have more kids at home?

Hope to be able to meet at PIR. Are you planning to attend any of the Meet & Greets on 5/17?  Several of us frim this division and our brother division 153 are planning to attend Sarge's Meet & Greet. Look forward to hearing from you again soon.
