Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

Happy Monday. Please keep Class 29 4 in your thoughts and prayers as they start Week 3 of Phase 1. Hell Week begins  next Sunday for them.

I'll lift each one of them up, asking that their minds be strong allowing their bodies to endure and know they will finish this week of testing with confidence and assurance in their abilities to accomplish any task.   Thanks for including us with this class, we'll all need practice praying for Hell week.

sjtina...Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly,  is Class 294 this particular group (DIV 813) "PreBuds/Buds" Class number?

Class 29 4 had PIR in November. I believe your division will be joining Class 29 7. The PIR group before you will be starting this class.

Sure thing sjtina! May God Bless and keep them all safe. Hell week is my biggest fear for my SR. I will be happy once that is over for our guys!

Lord Please keep them all safe and protected.  They have each other for support through this and they will keep each others spirits up.  Love to them all

Sorry I haven't posted yet but I have been very confused and frustrated by this site....it's very slow! haha but yes I got a 20 minute phone call last saturday and it was the highlight of my entire time he's been gone! But you know it sure does make you appreciate the little things in life such as letters and phones whenever they are gone and I'm sure they're all realizing as much as we are. I am very thankful for this experience. Not only is it building my sailor's character, but mine as well. I have learned patience the most....HAHA. In a world where we want everything right then and there, it's not always like that. But I am thankful for what all you ladies post, very encouraging and a very amazing support group. We are strong women to stand next to and support such brave, courageous men. What an honor :)

Cait, you are not the only one who has problems with this site, but most have opened up N4Ms using Google Chrome. It really works.

Hi ladies! Hope you are all well.

I'm bummed out today. I thought we would have received a letter. The last two weeks it has come on thur. I pray tomorrow something will come.

Gods blessings to DIV 813 and to their families!

Hope you start to feel better.

Chris's mom sorry your not feeling well. I pray you will feel better soon.

Hi Ladies,

Lots of prayers being sent up from here for the guys ahead of our guys in BUD/S and for Chris's Mom. Myty, I hope your letter comes tomorrow. Thursday is letter day here also. My son sends them to us all in one envelope and we get so excited!! It would be so sad around here if a Thursday went by without a letter! I hope it is just caught up in the snail mail process.  I have some news for everyone.  My students received 27 letters responding to the letters they wrote to the SR's!!!!According to my son, several of the letters made it to sailors who had not received mail. My students were THRILLED to received the letters! It was a great day for them. It was amazing for me also to get to hear from all the outstanding young men who are going through this with my son.  We will be 1/2 way there tomorrow!! Only 4 weeks left. PRAISE GOD!  He has been so near to us all at my house and with my son through all of this.

" Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever"!
