Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I just got the letter late yesterday.  My son arrived at GL on 3/1.  I thought we might be pushing it to make the 4/27 date, but happily surprised.  Got a GREAT note on the back of the letter... Has he changed this much already that he seems to really miss us?  Wow!  

Hoping to connect with other 11/134 moms.  Let me know.  :D  Hang in there!  We're gonna make it, just like our kids!  :D

 We are almost done packing. Should be finished tonight. Probably leaving home about 8 or 9 tomorrow morning. Been watching the weather. Should be abit chilly Friday morning. We've been told that the drill hall gets abit chilly when they open the doors for the SR's to march in....See ya'll there......

Ribbons, Ribbons, where do I get the ribbons for 11/134?????

Good Morning Everyone, I just looked for car rentals and the $$$ is crazy.  I remember someone put a website out here that had really good prices.  Does anyone have that website or know where I can get a really cheap rental car!  Thank you N4M and see you all on the 27th, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am flying in on Midway and there car rentals were between $35-40 a day...I went to priceline.com and bid for $12 a day...and it was accepted...SO you should really try them.

We will be staying at the Naval Lodge on base and i will be most definitely be at meet and greet Thursday nite and look forward to seeing everyone.

Is anyone else SR going to Pensacola, FL? 

Hendersonc what is your daughter going to Pensacola for???  Do you know what the ribbons are and where do we get them???  Thank you and see you on the 27th!

She going for Aviation! Im not sure what the ribbons are for but i will be making my own ribbons and flags. I know someone was making them for others but i have someone in 131 making stuff and anything else i will be making myself. I think someone is making ribbons for SR DIV if u want them but im not sure who will be making them.

I am so nervous....I just want to puke! Sorry...I know....too much information....

Go on FACEBOOK US NAVY Training Command Center.... our children's Division is finally pictured... You'll see the Division 134 flag clearly... with girls up front... the immediate following pic... has my son in it... It's very exciting... one of the moms posted a way to save the pic and zoom in without it getting fuzzy.... please help!!!!!
