No, I haven't yet...I keep wondering when they will do the gas chamber and other things and just plain ol' what are they doin! I also wanted to ask when would be the last day to send letters that would allow them to get there before graduation. I'm still on the countdown...so glad April only has 30 days...hehe
Ladies, I have an idea of when 141/142 do BattleStations. They should be first to go. Friend request/message me if you want to know. Also, be asking your SRs and message me when you have a confirmed date. Thanks!
ok... not so excited anymore. Been emotional all week. Does anybody have any word on how our SR's are doing? I have not heard anything at all in over a week now. The girlfriend has received 2 letters since my last one and she just says he's doing fine. Got reprimanded but won't say why. UGH!!!!!!!!
Had a short letter this week, sounds like the division has been so busy. We did get news (through his girlfriend) when he will leave for A school, and he said more news will be coming about leave. We are very lucky that she lives with us most of the week, so we get the news quickly. He told her the division was doing better as a group. Our division doesn't seem to get many phone calls though. Maybe they will all call this weekend....
Thanks for the news... I will just continue to wait then... at least we only have to wait 12 more days!
I received a short letter from my SR on Wednesday (I think Littlefoot told me that my son and yours know each other, if that helps). In it he said that the last test for them was coming up in a few days (his letter was written on Sunday the 22nd) and also the gas chamber. He gave me info on his departure for A school (Pensacola). Said that right after PIR, he has to go back to his compartment to pack up and only gets Liberty for that day/evening. Leaving early the next morning for his flight out.
Littlefoot said she didn't get a call and that if he hadn't passed his test then he would have called to let her know he wasn't going to be graduating-his letter said if he didn't pass the last test he'd be held back 2 wks. So, I guess this is one time we are very glad we didn't get a call.
I hope everyone else had a good weekend. 11 days to PIR!!!! Woo Hoo!!
I understand how everyone is feeling...I received a short letter this week but he was positive. I just keep praying for him each day. I wish BattleStations was over; waiting for news from that is as bad as waiting for that first letter from him during the first few weeks. But yes, Annette, at least it is only 12 more days!
Got a short and sweet letter as well! Just said that they were now able to write Tuesdays and Thursdays also, and drop mail to be sent out. Now that boot camp is over.. :) Beggers can't be choosers I suppose. Anyway, just said that he did the gas chamber the 25th and now all he is waiting on is battlestations. He is so ready to be done and get to A school so he can get back home. Anxious to find out where we are stationed!!
