Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Wisdom teeth
I got a letter from my SR Kyle yesterday and he said that he had his wisdom teeth out on the 17th. I felt so bad for him because he said it hurt a lot. He also wasn't able to make his phone call home because it was the same day :( He's had a rough week. Hoping his Chief let's him make a call. Will have to wait and see. Hopefully things are better this week. Sending positive thoughts to all of the SR's!!

Poor kid. I hope he is doing better. Matt mentioned in his voice mail to me that he had some cavities filled. I still feel awful that I missed his phone call.

I'm so sorry you missed his call. Hopefully Matt will get another one and you won't miss it. I'm hoping that Kyle will get to make one this week. I was doing ok until I heard about the teeth. It's hard not being there for them for something medical. Makes you feel so helpless. I know that they are young men, but they will always be our little boys.

My son told me in his second letter that he, too, had had his wisdom teeth out. He said his jaw was swollen shut (!) and that he had to exist on jello and powerade. However, I was blessed to be able to get a call from him 3 days after he had written the letter, and by then he was able to talk and sounded in good spirits. But, when I first received the news I felt badly for those that had to go through it. I am praying for them all!

My son SR Perry is/has gotten all four of his pulled. I tried to tell him before he left to get it done while he was home. They automatically like to go in and pull them if they haven't been pulled. It doesn't matter if they are not bothering them or not. If all goes well they won't fall behind and they will still be on track with the others even though they are on light and limited for a few days.
