Anybody else have a son/daughter is this division?  Can't wait to go to PIR on June 1st

Well I got a letter today and as we all know that is good news in itself.  I got such good news from my son he is a section leader and he sounds a little better then his first letter, he will be able to write on Tuesday and Thursday and he will be able to call home soon.  I am such a proud mama today!!!!!!

KEEP YOUR PHONES HANDY!!! I just got a call from my son, he said the whole Div was getting calls.  The pay phone that he was on was awful, I couldn't hardly hear him...but boy was it GREAT to talk to him.  Hope you all get calls too.

Our son called today.  They earned the privilege by passing a test.  It was so good to hear from him.  Can't wait to see him in 35 days.

I just  got my phone call this evening....boy it was so good to hear his voice.  The phone connection really was not all that good but just to be able to talk to him.  So be ready because it sounds like the division is making calls enjoy talking to your recruit.

Sorry you missed the call..but at least he got to talk to someone! I recieved my "kid in a box" the next week, my son left on Apr 5. and i got it on Apr 9 via fedex.  Then I got the form letter with all the information on Apr 13. IF you didn't get a box, it could be because he donated all of his clothes to charity...but if he took his cell phone you should have gotten that.  Ask him in a letter what he did with everything.  I got everything except the suitcase that he used, it had a hard bar on the bottom and it couldn't fit in the box so he donated it. The shots are normal, any time you are in the military you get a bunch...some are repeats of the ones you got as a child and some are other things that most people don't get immunized for.  My son told me he has to have his wisdom teeth plus 1 extra removed so he will have SIQ for a few days.  I made my reservations for PIR tonight...does anyone else want to meet up at one of the meet-n-greets?

Hi my son also left on April 5th and that is about the same time frame that we got "The Box" and the form letter

We have made our reservations we are going to stay at the Navy Lodge and also we have already signed up to go to Sarge's Meet N Greet on 5/31/12-- Hope to see ya there and meet the rest of Division 168 Moms

How do you sign up for the meet n greet?  I will sign up too so that we can meet.  I will be bringing my mom and sister with me to the meet n greet, if they are allowed to come.

To sign up for the Meet N Greet you just have to click on the link for Sarge's Meet and Greet then on the right side there will be a box asking you if you are attending or not and you just have to click on the attending box.-- Hope to see you all at Sarge's Meet and Greet on 5/31/12 the night before PIR

I RSVP'ed for the meet n greet...See  you there!

About a week or so ago someone posted  a link to order Division T-Shirts, could you post it again for me.  I would really appreciate it.  I would like to order these shirts for my family.  Thank you

Hi Tylersmom-- Here is the link to order the divisional t-shirts we have already placed our orders i just scanned in the completed order form and emailed to there email address and they responded right away through email that they received my order and we would receive before we left to go to PIR.  Just an FYI if you want the grey shirts they take longer than the black and they can't guarantee grey will be received prior to PIR.

Thanks dereksmom21 for sharing this info.  I am not tylersmom but we will definitely look in to buying some shirts.
