Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

cor why is 800 divisions last?  Just wondering

Cor, its ok to be biased. lol

When each division is called, people cheer, but when the 800 division enters the cheers are deafening. What an awesome feeling that was.

cait that is so sweet. it takes encouragement on both sides to get through this.  my sr said that some of the women are meeting for coffee  i havent heard anything. said that someone set up a facebook but i went on the naval recruiting site and i will be darn if i can find anything.

You're right about the encouragement! It's truly a bonding experience for all of us and I love it! But I have yet to hear about the coffee thing! I have not a clue about it!

Hell Week for 2 94 was secured earlier today. Thank you so much for the prayers and well wishes.

Praise the Lord, I've lifted them up every day.  Happy to know they are on the other side.  Got a letter today from my SR sounds like he's on track with 813 DIV.  Looking forward to meeting all of you in Great Lakes!

I know that was a relief to the boys and their Moms. Congratulations 294!

Hi Ladies!

Just reading about the cheers at PIR are making me tear up. Can't imanage how hard the tears are going to flow on the actual day! Note to self pack water proof mascara!

So happy hell week is over for 2 94. I pray they ALL did well and they are not to beat up.

chris's mom I dont fly in until thursday but would love to meet everyone.  going to sarges meet andgreet on thursday.  Hope your sr is doing well.  mine loves it

ok everyone  we are getting closer and closer.  it will soon be our turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies! Hope all is well with you and yours!!!!!

I'm with you teeny the finish line is almost in sight! Hard to believe. Eight weeks felt like a life time. SOOOOOOO happy it is almost over.

Question? Where is this coffee taking place and who is setting it up? Is there another site that DIV 813 is communicating on?

Who is meeting at Sarges (I thought that was a bar..... hard to hear people talk)?  I will be more than happy to meet where ever just as long as I get to meet all you wonderful ladies. I would have had a much harder time making it through this if it wasn't for all of you!

Good afternoon all, How is everyone and their SR doing? Good, I hope. Missing mine like crazy.Keep checking the pictures on the facebook site hoping for a glimpse, but nothing so far.  :(

Sarge is holding a meet and greet at the Sundance Saloon on Thursday night from 5:30-7:30. I found it  listed on this site under events. There's his and another one besides the Ramada Inn.

Has anyone else ordered the ribbons from Lala for the PIR?
