Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey there! Just a place for family of SRs in Ship 09 (USS John F Kennedy) Division 146 to get together and chat, ask questions, and discuss whatever. :)  I'm new to this, so anyone who has a heads up on anything regarding the ribbons (LaLa Ribbon Queen I believe is who we need to contact) and stuff like Sarge's Meet-and-greet, feel free to enlighten the rest of us!

I got a letter as well!  And he is soo ready to be done!  Less than 2 weeks to go!  I can't wait!  4 more days until the phone call! : )

KitiOtter, I am planning on bringing my son that is a senior with us...hopefully we will get there in time. Our flight gets to ohare at 5:30 so will see..for sure he will be at PIR!
Wow, he will be excited to see all the sisters! LOL! He is 6'7" so we will stand out!

Bc Mom- saw that you are staying at the Holiday inn Express also. It seems we are the only ones. We will have our 15 and 17 year old daughters with us. Hope to meet you. My son is ship 09 Div 146

Oh no, I will have my 17 (almost 18) year old son! LOL! Someone that had been there highly recommended the hotel so I know it will be nice. I will be the one wearing a smile...ear to ear : D

I hear the hotel is nice. I'm glad there will be other teens for my girls to maybe hang out with. Should be fun time for everybody. Now to get through tomorrow evening:) 

We will be much later...will be excited for you all to get your calls....I will be watching for y'all to post them...then I know our day will be getting closer.

Our son is on the same ship. We are from Chino, CA. He is 22. Anyone going to the meet and greet at Flanagans the night before graduation or staying at the Red Carpet Inn?

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express. We are going to Sarge's Meet and Greet at the Sundance Saloon. They provide free shuttle transport from the local hotels(including the Red carpet I believe) My son is 23 and in Div 146. Will you be bringing any other children with you?

Hi kupc8ke. I am going to Sarge's meet and greet..We will be leaving Lax Wednesday night and arrive at ohare at 5;30 am thursday. So i will have all day Thursday to cruise around the base..lol. hope to see you all

Hi, Joann M. My son is on ship 09 and div 146. How do you know that there battle stations are tomorrow at 8pm?
