Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

how long does it take for them to get in?  I will order mine tonight

if you contact her, she is very good about getting back with you...i am sure there is time : )

flanagans is from 5-9  and sarges is from 530 - 8.  I am going to sarges myself. but could go to flanagans after sarges I guess

The blue candle is a great idea. Does anyone know which place is less noisy Sarges or Flanagans? This way we will be able to hear each other when we talk! I don't care where we meet just as long as we are all together.

sounds like a plan chris mom just let us know. I dont care which one as long as we are all there

Wearing the ribbon to the meet and greet might be helpful to recognize others from 813.  I ordered mine last week and Lora recommended a black ribbon with gold letters for the 800 divisions, which might help stand out a little from the others (who will more likely have navy ribbons).  I will probably be at Sarge's

Hi Ladies! I got a 20min call from my SR today! Yee Hah!!!!!! He got a perfect score on a test so he was allowed to call home. I pray you all got a call as well.

SWCC'Em from what I understand the "Hall of Fame" award is awarded to the division in each training group that is (as my son wrote) "near perfect". It is one of the top (or the top) honors a division can get.

that is awesome myty!! I know you had to be ecstatic to hear from him and rightfully proud of his score!
I kind of figured the hall of fame was self-explanatory but stranger things, you know? :)

Wha whooseeey,  we got phone calls yesterday too!  After having my cell phone attached to my hip for the last 6 weeks I went out to walk the dogs yesterday and left it on the kitchen counter!  Oh the luck.  Dad got to talk and I got a message on my cell phone, which is as you know, priceless.

myty I think our SR's may be friends!  I've been telling him about all of you in my letters.

My SR says things are going well, his voice was very upbeat and had a chuckle as he reminded himself that BC is almost over.

I'll be online tonight for a conference chat to decide on a meeting place or two.   We get to Great Lakes early Thursday morning, I'm available all day and happy to set up a table at SARGE or anywhere else we want to meet.

Same Bat Channel tonight!

I am jealous. I wanna call.  I am glad that they do good and got to make phone calls though.  congrats MYTY on your call and you to navyblue.  I can not wait to hear his voice or see that silly grin.  I think that would be a great idea NavyBlue.  save us all a seat at sarges.

Hey Ladies,

Whooaaa. I have had internet issues and have missed a few nights. I feel totally lost.

1. Please explain about buying ribbons ????

2. Online chatting ;( Did I miss it?

3. Did you ladies decide where to meet? We are driving and I am not sure when we will arrive but I would like to make it for coffee or whatever.

4. I got a phone call !!!!!!!!!!! So amazing to hear his voice. It was a true miracle that I had my phone. I was walking students to their cars after school.

5, Old news, but I am so glad hell week is over for the BUD/S fellows.  I have been praying for the division to work together!

6. ITS MAY! Finally! Sorry, didn't mean to yell. ( I feel like I over punctuated in this post, forgive me please )
