Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hey there! Just a place for family of SRs in Ship 09 (USS John F Kennedy) Division 146 to get together and chat, ask questions, and discuss whatever. :)  I'm new to this, so anyone who has a heads up on anything regarding the ribbons (LaLa Ribbon Queen I believe is who we need to contact) and stuff like Sarge's Meet-and-greet, feel free to enlighten the rest of us!

Yes it is Waukegan. it's supposed to be a new hotel, should be nice.

Wow, has anyone seen this CNN report on BS21. Quite impressive and a little nerve racking. I won't get my call until tomorrow. Fingers crossed for all the recruits this week!!

I know I saw it like 2 weeks ago!! And I cried, can't wait for the call!!

I couldn't access the link and so did a google search of just the part without the http://www section.  Then I was able to find and watch it.  Makes me want to hold my breath and cross my fingers for all of them!! 

Hi Alma, we will be leaving LAX early Wednesday morning and we are bringing our 18 yr old daughter and 26 & 24 yr old niece and nephew and arriving at Red Carpet late afternoon.Going to Sarge's M&G and possibly Flanagans as well. Curious to know what to do in the area. Just got a letter from our son. Said he went through the TG. Was tough. I hope all goes well with the unit and they pull together. Looking forward to the call after BS. I miss him so much.See you all there.

     Hi Alma we will be leaving out of Orange County on Tuesday and will also be staying at the Red Carpet Inn. Hope to see you at Sarge's M&G. My 30 yr old son and my 17 yr old son will be flying out of LAX on Wednesday evening and wont get in until thursday morning. Hope to see you there
