Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

i found out about this site from a brochure from the navy that they gave me when my son took his final oath. it was listed on the back of suggested sites that would be helpful. boy has it been helpful. thanks

I was a frantic mom, desperately looking for someone, anyone who understood how I was feeling. I found this site the day my son left for BC, through a search on google for anything having to do with NAVY. Boy did I get lucky. This site has turned out not only to be a life saver, but I have met so many new friends on this board. I love coming to this board and reading what the new moms have to say. It is so wonderful to just hear all of the worry and anxiety in their voices just melt away when they talk to the more experienced moms. Everyone here has been such a comfort and a blessing for me. I thank all of you.

I am just browsing. One of our new moms told us about this and I just love the format. I think it's awesome to think that there is so much now that can help new moms. For years we were one of the very few sites out there for parents and there is this one that is obviously very active and also I think it's great that there is a forum on the navy site for RTC now for parents. Very cool. I know we have a couple of moms that are with you as well as us and I encouraged them to at any time to share info from our site. I hope you don't mind if we share from "yours" to ours as well.
Hey, and with the sign up, you need a spot for "veteran" rather than retired. My daughter is a veteran and not retired, HA. It would be interesting to see a spot for disabled and also for parents with multi branches (you might have those and I just didn't see.) Hey, maybe you are the site for the RTC site. Extra cool. Just glad to meet you!
I'll put a link in our files for if anyone finds this format more to their liking. We're smaller and simpler, HA! Great group of moms, and dads. HA, i just saw Jan Zabel's post, she's on our group.

My Husband found this site for me I have been trying to find a proud Navy Parent Car Magnet and he found this site wich I am just so pleased with I have been kearning a lot from it and just cant get enough of the site and all the wonderful people on it
