Got two letters from my SR today.  He said they did exceptionally well on their final test.  Now they are up to 6 flags!!!!!!  Way to go guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Making us sooooo very proud!  HOOYAH 812!!!!

Any of you ladies and your fams attending the M & G ?

It would be great if we could all go to the same one and meet one another ...

Let me know what you guys think... Thanks ladies

@ Nancy ...I was thinking of that same one.... be a good one to go to....

He SWCC ladies... Have a question for you. What rank will your son/hubby be when they get out of boot? My son was told he would be E-3. He found out he is a E-1 and I talked to our recruiter who apologized to me and said he was confused and thought swcc was same as the seals but now found out they are handled differently. He said my son will graduate as an E-1 and the moment he steps foot at a-school he will automatically be bumped to E-3 and then when he graduates swcc he will be an E-4 and get his chevron. Is this your guys' understanding? Stacy

Hi Stacy,

Most enter BC as an E-1 unless (you have attended college prior BC ).It is common to advance to E2 especially if they were in the DEP program for awhile.  Not everyone advances, they have to pass their tests and the physical tests. They can definitely rank up.  E-3 will be the highest rank they can achieve until they finish A-School. I've also heard it all depends on the chief...

ok keep in mind while in BC they are all considered E-1's regardless...... but on Grad day... you will see some will be E-1, some E-2 and some E-3.

I hope that helped... and made sense ....lol ...

I knew that basic info but he was specifically told he would go in as an E-3 and after boot camp and swcc school then get his E-4 rank so he was upset at finding out why he is only an E-1. Now his recruiter is saying he received bad information and it is what it is.

Stacy... I am truly sorry this is happening to your son..

It's ok...just another challenge in our lives. Just means "less toys" for this boy for a little while longer. He he

My SR just got his E-2 for his shirt and at graduation an E-3.
